Youth Tennis Clothing
LDS/ Mormons- I have a Youth Dance to night and what are somethings...?
to talk to boys about when dancing with them? So it won't be all awkward.... (This is my first dance I turn 14 11/11/09 and almost a mem for 1.5 yrs.) Oh and the Theme is Blue Hawaii and its a modest casual and we are allowed to wear summer clothes... would it be a good idea to wear flip flops or sandal, or just wear tennis shoes?

If you want to wear sandals then wear them unless you're worried about getting your toes stepped on.
Things you could talk about or ask them is: what is their name? favorite classes, hobbies, music, whats their age, what do they want to be when they grow up, and when I went to youth dances "what is the color of your toothbrush?" was often asked lol.

Tennis Lessons for Beginning Players : Tennis Court Layout & Lines
Am I shallow if I only feel that I look my best in clothes with designer labels?
This all came up when I noticed a very cool looking pair of tennis shoes at wal mart except for the generic label on the sides. I realized the only thing keeping me from buying them was the generic label and now I feel silly about it.
Am I a 34 year old man thats still behaving like the child in school who had to have a cool pair of $100.00 nikes. Am I retaining my youth through a check mark on a darn shoe? I feel like a square, paw paw, or "dork" in no name brand shoes.
Does anyone relate? I feel its just a hang up and realize I could by 5 pairs of the cheaper shoes for the price I pay for one.
You're shallow if designer labels are ALL that make up your personality.
Otherwise its a social prefferance thats been conditioned into your from an early age - statements like: the popular kids wear the best cloths, only poor people wear generic brands, I feel that am not attractive unless I wear the best cloths and so on.
It could also be related to a massive inferiority complex. Maybe you were dumped or mistreated by an old GF and subconsciously you delt with the bruised ego by wearing designer cloths.
Other than that, if those don't apply then its likely related to a low self esteem or poor self image.
Its only a disorder or "abnormal" if this desire to wear designer cloths is obsessive and compulsive - you can't help but wear these cloths and you think about them a lot. Then you have OCD and probably a related to a subconcsious defensive mechanism to help you deal with doubt and anxiety and make you feel like you are in control.
If none of that applies then you are just you.

More than that, Continental has its hub at Newark/Liberty Airport, so most NJ and NYC residents have flown Continental at some point in their life.And while the people at the game may be able to afford Izod's clothing, Izod doesn't make basketball attire – unlike say, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, or even Izod is the first clothing brand I can think of that sponsored a stadium. Their clothing features the alligator in the picture at the top of this post. It's primarily tennis clothing – Rene Lacoste, who started the company, was a well-known French tennis player in the last century.
