Wilson Tennis N5
Good beginners tennis racquet?
Recently I have become interested in tennis, and I am thinking about joining the team at my school. I have been doing research on tennis racquets and found the Wilson n5 Force Performance Tennis Racquet. I was wondering if that would be a good racquet for me and if not what would. Thank you to all who answer.
I think that racket is fine for a beginner. But best thing to do is demo a few and see which one you like. Tennis Warehouse has a great demo program. Check it out -> http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/demoprogram.html Good luck

List Price: |
DescriptionFilmmaker Robert Zemeckis topped his breakaway hit Romancing the Stone with Back to the Future, a joyous comedy with a dazzling hook: what would it be like to meet your parents in their youth? Which raquet is for me?
I'm a freshman in high school. I'm on the varsity tennis team. I'm the number 2 singles player. I went undefeated in 8 singles match last year against 5 seniors and 3 juniors. I used a wilson n5 last year but it's pretty much busted by now. I need more power and serve control. I don't have a job (not old enough only 14) so anything over $125 is too much. So does anyone have any suggestions for my new raquet.
I am selling my old Babolat Pure Drive Team,
You know the one Roddick used before.
I am selling them in Florida,
One is strung with Hurricane on the Mains, and Conquest on the cross, both by babolat.
This one has a grip handle size of #4 3/8.
The other is unstrung, but I can string it.
They both have Pink Yonnex over grip
this one has a grip handle size of #3.
Also
the usual scratches on the head of the racket.
I will sell the one that is strung for $120,
And the unstrung one for $105.

My husband has told me to give you very specific instructions regarding the bat. 1.) He is NOT semi-dead. Bats like to lull you into a feeling of safety, or calmness or superiority…they have been in cahoots with marsupials for eons – they have learned to PLAY dead. (I'd believe him – he's a theatre prof – knows all about “playing dead” ) 2.) DO NOT under any circumstances approach with out a weapon and some sort of head gear (he prefers a Wilson tennis racket and a fencing mask). 3.) Call a professional, preferably one that knows what a bat is, unlike the anchor clueless handy man.
