Wilson Tennis Grips over grip and/or standard grip ? please help Tennis?
i currently use a head youtek radical mp and i really like the racket, however at the moment its not being very affective, i use a standard grip which i bought for like £3 and when playing becomes very hard to maintain a good grip due sweat, i then tried a Wilson K Blade 98 during practice which only had an over grip on and nothing else and it felt good also it being thin felt good and sturdy, very comfortable and felt right, So should i take my standard grip off and place an over grip or place an over grip over my standard grip ? or do you think it was just the way wilson handle is different ? any advice would be great
Did you put the standard grip on over the grip that was already on your racket? If so, you should take that off and just put the overgrip on it.

Wilson tennis grip clarification?
What is the difference in the Wilson Pro Soft overgrip, Wilson Pro Perforated overgrip, and the normal Wilson Pro overgrip.
In terms of softness, comfort, durability, tackiness, and absorption. And which one you would recommend. It would help me a lot with a detailed answer.
Thanks, Ryan
The Pro Soft is exactly what it says - it's a soft grip. I don't really like the feeling of "soft" grips because it can become slippery after being sweated on.
The Pro Overgrip is the one I use for my racket, love it. It's tacky, but not overly. It lasts me about two weeks before it just completely turns dirty and slippery...it's worth the money though.
The Perforated version has little holes in it that are "supposedly" supposed to repel sweat and make the grip feel drier, but I just don't like the feeling of little holes on the grip. Also, I tried this overgrip, and didn't feel any better absorption of sweat...it just gave me more calluses...
If I were you, I'd try out the regular Pro Over.....I guarantee you'll like it.
(HOWEVER, if they have the Babolat Syntec Overgrip in the same area where you are buying, buy that one instead! I'd be purchasing that grip if only they sold it where I bought my overgrips).
