Wilson Head Is a wooden wilson (small head) racquet still effective today?
A player with a wooden racket would be at a decided disadvantage against a player with a large-head modern frame.

Kowtow,
Unquestionably, a wood racket can be used to play the game since that was the only type of racket until the 70s. But a wood racket would have to be considered ineffective because a player with a wood racket would be unable to beat a player of his same skill level who was using a modern racket.

Is head microgel prestige or wilson k blade 93/98 better?
As in which do you prefer and why?
Personally, I'd go with the prestige over the kBlades any day. Just because it's heavier. Heavier racquets give more control. And I also tested an nBlade once and hated it. Not sure if it was the lighter weight (I'm used to pretty heavy stuff), or the balance being closer to even, or maybe even that it was strung looser than I prefer. Whatever.
I mean, they're both good racquets, but at the end of the day, I prefer to get as much control as possible, and that would come from the prestige.
