Does skateboarding make you lose any Weight?
well, i am just a teenager and im think of skateboarding. i gotta admit, i am a little "big" so i wanna try sports that lose some weight. All my friends skateboard and well i was wondering i could get into skateboarding, but well does it lose you any weight? all the sports that I know that lose you weight that im doing at the moment are Biking, and soccer and a little basketball. XD, but lets not get off topic here...does skatboarding make you lose any weight?
How many fat skateboarders have you seen? Considering the muscles you use and the energy that is expounded, I fail to see how any skateboarder could not lose weight. The isometrics of the thing are phenomenal just to keep the balance. I would personally give it a plus for weight loss. Do be careful. If you are overweight that is all the more room for bruises, cuts and scrapes and you will fall from time to time.

Why are all these 12-16 year olds so concerned about their weight?
since when are 12 year olds worried about having a waist?! I've been hanging out diet and fitness area on here looking for some tips and I'm scared!!! at how many very YOUNG teenagers are so concerned about their weight. Where's all this coming from? Who's telling you guys you're fat or you need to be worried about your body?! You should be focusing on school and sports and getting your first kiss not what your waist or legs are looking like.
Im one of these people and its because theres so many perfect people out there and at school you get bullied so you get obsessive, also theres pe and if you were something nice you get laughed at and clothes and shoes shopping is like hell because of your size, its not that i stuff my face with mcdonalds and dont try, i just look fat and well thats why it matters to people, im 1*6.4 pounds so yh..!
But i get peoples point on the ones that ARENT fat and obsessive, i just dont get THEM but i have a reason x
