Volley Tennis

I'm a left handed tennis player, what should my grip be for my backhand volley?
Good question because a lot of people don't know this. You should hold the same grip for both your forehand volley and your backhand volley (the pros use the same grip on both and the grip you should hold is CONTINENTAL). If the ball is coming at you fast at the net, there is no way you can possible adjust your grip. A continental grip gives you a good ability to strike the ball on both sides. A link below is a picture on how left handed players should hold a continental grip. I almost forogot. You get a lot of incorrect answers from everyone on this site. At tennis clubs, this is what they teach, this is what the pro's teach, and this is what I taught last summer. I taught tennis lessons last summer and all the other pro's I worked with did this. Don't be fooled by the people that say otherwise.

Volley (Tennis) $79.66 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A volley in tennis is a shot that is hit before the ball bounces on the ground. Generally a player hits a volley while standing near the net, although there are instances where it is executed farther back, in the middle of the tennis court or even near the baseline. The primary objective of the volley is to go on the offensive, cutting the opponents reaction time. The opponent will have much less time to chase down the ball from a volley. Another consideration is that, by volleying, a player eliminates any possibility of a bad bounce from an uneven surface such as those on some grass and clay courts. Also, while being near the net, the volleyer has a wider choice of angles to hit into the opponents court. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Timpledon, Miriam T./ Marseken, Susan F. How to Play Tennis : How to Hit a Forehand Volley in Tennis
who has the best serve best forehand backhand volley in female tennis ?
mine r :
best serve -sharapova
best forehand -ivanovic
best backhand -henin
best volley -henin
I agree with you. Although if I had to pick one player as the complete player it would be Henin.

I've faced and am still facing problems like these in matches. First of all, look at his game. You said he has only a few good shots, so basically he's not really a threat in a rally – he won't hit too many winners. I found one successful strategy is to hit heavy (lots of spin and deep) and move them around. Wait for them to give you a short ball. Pounce on it and try to set it up for an easy volley. He may be good at passing, but if you are concentrating well and react quickly to his short ball, he won't hit the best passing shot. If that doesn't work, try a few angles, slices, drop shots, mini lobs; maybe even hack for a while. And remember, stay positive and don't get down on yourself. Stick to your game plan. Good luck!
Hmmmm…Agassi's shot at 1:07 looks out…
you could pretend it's volleyball and do rally scoring.
but that's more like a real game, and not a warm up..
maybe…
2 points if you hit it before it hits the ground (and that shot wins the point)
