Volkl Logo

Logos... Volkl and Dunlop? Meaning?
I know that both Volkl and Dunlop have logos, but I have always wondered, what do they mean? Volkl has its "Frog" logo (as my freind called it) and Dunlop with its "Arrowhead"
So, help me out and give me some meaning, I looked for Volkl but had no luck, so help me on both of these...
If you could give me explinations on Yonex (I think I know this one almost), ProKennex (???), Head (cresent), Babolat (2 lines), and Fisher (Triforce), I would love you even more.
-Thank You-
I can help you out on some of these. Lets start with Head, the cresent shape as you call it is actually the top portion of a ski for the snow. Head is a well known brand of skis and it was that product which made them so well known in the sports equipment industry. The Dunlop logo with arrow is basically the symbol they used for dunlop racing, because they are a famous tire manufacturer. Goodyear has the wings of goodyear, well dunlop has the Go Dunlop racing logo. Volkl is very similar to Head in that it is a trademark meant to say Ski Volkl, but it was designed to accentuate the V pattern of a ski jumper. Volkl made some of the best Jumping skis in the earlier days of the sport and their trademark was made to promote this sport. The other logos I have some clues but have not spoken with the reps directly to find out.
