History of Massively Multiplayer Online Games $66.91 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The history of massively multiplayer online games spans over thirty years and hundreds of massively multiplayer online games (MMOG) titles. In 1974, Mazewar introduced the first graphic virtual world, providing a firstperson perspective view of a maze in which players roamed around shooting at each other. This could be seen as a key progenitor not only of MMOGs but also of First Person Shooters. It was also the first networked game, in which players at different computers could visually interact in a virtual space. The initial implementation was over a serial cable, but when one of the authors began attending MIT in 1974, the game was enhanced so that it could be played across the ARPAnet, forerunner of the modern Internet. VIRTUA TENNIS 3 PC GAME
Do you think the dreamcast is the most underrated system of all time?
i was looking threw my dreamcast games the other day and i was omg if it was for the ps2 the dreamcast one have been one of the greatest system ever. i mean soul caliber, marvel vs capcom 2, shenume, phantasy star online, street fighter alpha 3, sonic adventure 1 and 2, nba, nfl, mlb 2k series, resident evil, virtual tennis, ready to rumble, crazy taxi. if the dreamcast would have had a dvd player it would had been a whole different story i beleive
I do agree that it was underrated systems. The main thing that I enjoyed of the Dreamcast is the VGA cord. That makes a big difference in graphics. The most recent systems are now use the HD inputs. The Dreamcast did have a Broadband adapter, also allowed you to go online and surf the web. Well as much as want a new system from sega. I believe that a new system would change the way we look at the dreamcast with great memories to ones of negative criticism.
