Training Speed

What are really good speed training exercises. What will get me the best results? I have 6 months to do it.?
I have 6 months until football starts, I want to be running a low 4 second 40. I just need three or four exercises that'll get me running faster. Thanks for your time.
Honesty, the only thing you might be able to do to increase your speed is to sprint up hill. It will build the muscles in the back of your legs that you need for a quick take off. It will improve your speed pretty quickly.
Find a big hill near your home, school or wherever and practice running up it full speed over and over for about 20 minutes 3-4 days a week. Make sure to catch your breath in between and take your time between sprints. Running full force is anaerobic exercise if you stay out of your breathing comfort zone.

Speed Training - Acceleration Development
Which type of weight training is better for improving speed?
ONE
Normal weight training. You train a group of muscles using weights.
eg. Bicep curls, Leg press etc
TWO
Technique training with added weights
eg. Lower block pulling a resistance band, Punching with wrist weights etc
I want to improve my sparring speed. Reaction time can only be improved with a sparring partner, but in my own time, want to work on technique speed.
None, weight training increases power, stretching increase flexibility which increases speed.
As for reaction time... practice light sparing... trains your reaction time.
