Tin Can What can be used instead of a cake tin when baking a chocolate cake?
I'm on holiday in a place where they only have a little shop with all the basics. I've got everything I need apart from a cake tin! The nearest supermarket is a few miles away and I don't plan on going there anyway. Any ideas for subsitutions?

Lego#57 - Tin can stacker
How can you remove a cake from a character tin?
My wife bought a Spider-man character tin last night. Baked a cake in it and let it cool overnight in the refrigerator.
Now we can't remove the cake!
Before she poured the batter she greased the bottom and then sprinkled it with flour.
Any tips?
Refrigerated it?!?!? THAT'S the problem!
Maybe you can let it come to room temp and see if it'll come out then.
NEXT TIME: cool about 15 min in the pan THEN turn it out onto your platter.
