USA is a threat to global peace and stability?
Its a topic for my debate. plz have some suggesstions and ideas
As the most powerful country, the USA naturally represents a target. If it weren't the US, whoever else was on top would be a target, so it's not us particularly, just that we're militarily powerful.
Because we are economically large, our economic decisions affect other economies worldwide. Any change creates people who benefit, and some who do not, and they will then resent the US. Missteps in this area can have unintended consequences - for example, the focus on Ethanol here has driven up corn prices in Mexico and Latin America, which is a staple food for tortillas and such, and the price rise has affected poor residents there.
That's mostly the only way we are a threat - by being powerful militarily and economically, our actions have big effects, sometimes unintended.
Note: Imagine the world in 50 years' time, when it is likely that China will have passed the US militarily and economically. They will then be the focus of all of that.
PS - I do not believe that the US is an aggressor nation, actively and purposely affecting global peace. Yes, the country acts when it thinks it must (and sometimes gets its facts wrong, like Iraq), but mostly the goal is a stable, secure world. The USA is not after colonization, domination of peoples, plundering of riches, etc. as classic aggressor nations are.

I read in the Craggy Island Journal today that a cell of militant Buddhists might be threatening violence to achieve their aims.

Which country ended up with heavy water the UK supposedly sent back to the manufactures, claiming they had too much, ISRAEL.
