Who else wants to watch tennis, badly?

So this week has been so boring tennis-wise, I couldn't even think of a question to ask here! The Fed Cup should be nice now that Kuzy (yes KUZY) is in it..Next week nothing to spectacular, Paris is okay, and Zvonareva is in Pattaya. How are you dealing with the lack of tennis, and what event are you looking forward to?

I have never liked the period after the Australian Open. It feels so flat and until Indian Wells I never really get into any of the tournaments in Feb/March.

Once the clay court season starts then it is totally different. I am especially looking forward to Madrid/Rome, although that is some time away yet.

Christ I would love to watch a good match right now. UK tv coverage of tennis is pitiful at best.

Ana Ivanovic Vs Vera Zvonareva STORM TENNIS IW 09

LA Women's Tennis Championships Quarterfinals?

Who do you think will win these matches?

Samantha Stosur (Australia) v.s. Zheng Jie (China)
Sorana Cirstea (Romania) v.s. Agnieszka Radwanska (Poland)
Urzula Radwanska (Poland) v.s. Maria Sharapova (Russia)
Flavia Pennetta (Italy) v.s. Vere Zvonareva (Russia)

Here are my choices:

Samantha Stosur
Sorana Cirstea
Maria Sharapova
Flavia Penneta

I see Stosur topping Zheng, especially with the serve and her ground game is bigger. Just cant go for too much often. Should win 3 and 3. Usually after an "upset" a player comes back down to earth.
Cirstea is another rising player, though not as fast, but see her stopping Radwanska, who gets to a certain point, then thats it. She lacks a weapon or 2. SC 5 and 4.
Sharapova should handle the hard hitting younger Rad. I say 4 and 4.
Flavia and Vera will be I think the tougher match of the 4. Flavia often goes under rated, as the top Italian player, and Vera has been goign up and up till her injury. Will be interesting to see how Vera is feeling in a tough match and if back at full speed. Penn in 3.
