What is this strange fruit from Marceille?
Hey, I just opened a strange fruit that's name i don't know. It's the size of a tennis ball, Skin like made from small grains that are green though i left it to ripe for several months. It comes from France ( my mom found it there on the grass in Marseille ). It tastes crap i think it's not edible( first kinda sweet then bitter), smells like rotten chemical apples with peach. (barf) Kinda like a breadfruit but smaller, seeds are the size of 2mm across, 3 mm length. Also when fresh, piercing the skin grain of it produced a milky ooze. Earlier it smelled citrusy. Also, like jackfruit cut in half it oozes milky sap from middle. I once saw it in Zurich in a florist shop. It said something like Maceura or Maneura. Breadfruit in France?
If you saw this fruit in a florist shop, it is highly likely that it is not edible, so you should not attempt to eat it.
Perhaps if you take it to a florist, or your local nursery, they may be able to identify it. Without a picture it is a little difficult.

Henin Goes to the Final in the Zurich Open
Justine Henin played very well on the semifinal against Nicole Vaidisova from the Czech Republic; beating her 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 on Saturday, now she moved to the final where she will have to play against Tatiana Golovin from France who defeated Francesca Schiavone from Italy 6-0, 6-4.
This is the second time Henin drops a set since Wimbledon, she lost a set also in the Stuttgart final against Tatiana Golovin. On the other hand, this is the 19th consecutive victory for Henin who won 8 titles in 12 tournaments during the current season.
In the semifinal she found a hard opponent, Vaidisova "She pushed me at lot in the first set and I was reacting," Henin said. "I had little concentration problems. I put a lot of useless pressure on myself at several break points, for some reason. She, on the other hand, had one break point and converted it."
"It wasn't easy today, but I finally came through and I'm in the final," Henin said. "There are days or weeks when you're not at your best. It's hard to compete at your best level all the time. You just have to accept it. You say, 'OK, I didn't play extraordinary but I won, so there it is."'
She played a good game, not extraordinary but what matters is she is going to the final. She expected Vaidisova to made some mistakes and that was what gave Henin the victory at the end. Vaidisova was very though but not enough for Justin Henin, even though she did some extraordinary moves and made her loose one of the sets.
