I am so curious about the women tennis player proliles those provided on the WTA Website?

For an example, Serena Williams is 5'9 in height and her weight is just 68kg but she looks stocky. Maria Sharapova is 6'2 in height but her weight is even more ridiculous, her weight is just just 59kg. Those profiles are accurate or not ? Thanks

They may not be accurate since WTA do not update those information very often, UNLESS its related to wins or loses from tournaments entered. If you noticed that when you go to their "equipment used," they may not be correct a lot of times specially if the players have just signed a new contract with another equipment company. Afterall, WTA rates their players by their tournament results rather than by their looks. Otherwise Kournikova would be number one 10 x over.

Wta Ptt Pattaya Open - Striking Sport for Tennis Lovers

If you are familiar with the historical details of this tournament, as tennis fanatics does, you must know a little bit about this. In the 1991, this event was the part of the WTA Tier v series and then again it was held in the same style in 2001 to 2003. From 1993 to 2000, it was held as Tier IV event but then promoted back as Tier IV in 2005.

Today it is known as WTA PTT Open international event and allures the minds of people with surprise and amusement. Many tennis players are working with enthusiasm of winning the title of this tournament. Bad luck for Conchita, a great tennis player who had to miss this great tournament as she had not fully recovered from illness and unfit position.  Hmm! It is a good day for great tennis player Serena Williams who had got top WTA rankings after winning grand slam title in the Australian championship this weekend. Serena William is quite lucky women who has got this title third times in the women tennis championship and got this position in 16- 57 weeks  from July 2002 to August 2003 and last season.

You can explore tennis livescore to this great tennis star; it will help you to know more about this player.  She remarks about her great and vigorous victory in the following manners, “2009 WTA Open will be definitely one of the most remarkable and memorable tournament in my career” she said it on the occasion when she has won the major hardcourt fourth time. “I really thrilled with this remarkable wining title and the title of number one tennis player will really add a bonus to my career” This 27 years old great tennis star granted herself with great performance and honour when she was able to thrashed Russian tennis player Dinara Safina with 6-0 6-3 in the final match of Australian open tennis tournament open final which acted as winner-take- all affair was held for number one player ranking.

You can also review the striking slides of this great final online which makes you amused with live tennis scores. This triumph really moved Williams into rarefied air as she was considered the only tennis player in the history of women who had already won 10 grand slams or more title and others names are Chris Court, Martina Navratilova, Magaret Court and Steffi Graf.

The champion 33-time overtakes the another tennis player named Serbia Jelena who had enjoyed number one position till knocking Williams out of top player in the month of October. These are some striking details that give you precise overview of the matches held in this season. • James Blake For President!:

Idk what this guy is on lol

Im gonna make my own counter-power ranking top 10 list!

1 – Serena Williams : Sure she's injured, but she won Wimbledon. Im pretty sure Serena is gonna come back and compete in the US Open, and probably go pretty far in it too, its her nature as a player

2 – Jelena Jankovic : I think she's being consistent enough to be a top 2 player again, however, I am worried about her retirement this week

3 – Venus Williams : How can Venus be no.1 if she lost in the QF's of her best tournament? I think Venus needs to rebuild her confidence during the US Open Series, but I dont think it'll help her all that much

4 – Caroline Wozniacki : She hasn't been that great during the Slams this year, but Wozniacki is heading to her best surface to rack thousands of points. I think she's gonna regroup to at least make the US Open SF's

5 – Vera Zvonareva : Wimbledon finals this year in both singles and doubles will surely help her mental strength. Vera now knows that she's got the goods to make it to the finals at a Major. If the US Open Series can give her good results, then Vera's not gonna have another meltdown like she did last year

    6 – Li Na : Agree w/ website

7 – Kim Clijsters : She's still got some free points heading into Stanford. But now Clijsters is gonna have to start defending points for the first time. She needs to rekindle the fire that she had returning last year

8 – Sam Stosur : Stosur hasn't done anything significant since reaching the finals of Roland Garros. Idk why she was put at #4 when she lost in the 1st round of Wimbledon. I dont think Sam Stosur is gonna do terrific at the US Open again this year, but may be able to get some points in the tournaments prior.

9 – Justine Henin : She's had a lot of free points this year while making some "mediocre" results in the slams except for Australian Open. She's still gonna have no points to defend for the rest of the year so her ranking is sure to boost up alot. Its unfortunate that she wont be able to participate in the US Open

    10 – Agnes Szavay : Agree w/ website

  • :

    50%)
    * 6 russians on the top 20 (=30%)
Well i guess this is not too bad for a country that represents 2,5% of the world population …

SO despite this accidental situation at australian open, Russia still leading female tennis !

    Great !!!!!!

I would also say (one more time) that they are from far the most beautiful but no need to discuss this point, everybody already agree !]]>
