Tennis Video

Which is the Nintendo Wii video game that requires the most moving of arms?
I'm a jock, I'm 25, and I was never a big fan of video games. I can only say I liked Street Fighter II and that's it, I can't remember ever liking another game.
I just played Wii for the first time, and liked it. I played with my tennis partner the tennis video game, and we loved it, we were running around in the room doing the arm movements, we probably exagerated and moved more than we needed. I also loved the baseball game, we were competeting for who could throw the fastest according to the computer.
I never liked video games, but I might buy this console because you have to stand up and move.
Which are the video game that require a lot of arm movement, and different ways of moving them?
Being someone who actually owns zelda I would have to disagree, it doens't require, and often doesn't even encourage a lot of movement. The wii sports game (what you played) requires the most that I've seen (and comes free with the system), but there will be plenty that require more as the system moves on.

Movement Training For Tennis Video (Copyright 1990) (VHS) $31.95 How can players set themselves up to hit perfect returns like the pros? Let Jack Groppel, Lynne Rolley, Stan Smith, and Nick Saviano show you in Movement Training for Tennis.Developed through the expertise of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Sport Science Committee, this video presents a progression of drills to help players at any level add explosive movement to their game. World-renowned tennis coach Dr. Jack Groppel enlists the aid of USTA tennis experts to show coaches, instructors, and players how reaction time and movement time result in explosive speed. This concept involves the player’s seeing the ball off the opponent’s racket (reaction time), adding an immediate "split-step" toward the ball (movement time), and completing the execution of the shot with a rapid release of energy (explosive movement). In Part I of this video, players start off with warm-up drills to prevent injury. Next, there’s a progression of sport-specific drills designed to help players improve shot anticipation, initial take-off, footwork, body position, and recovery time after hitting the shot. Players will progress from short speed drills to more complex drills that incorporate lateral and horizontal movements. In Part II, the unique sliding techniques required to play effectively on clay is demonstrated. Players will learn how to step into the slide before executing the stroke, how to recover after the shot, and how to maintain balance throughout.Movement Training for Tennis is a valuable tool in helping players use movement to stay on top of their opponents’ shots during match play and get the winning edge.About the AuthorThe United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the governing body for tennis in the United States. Activision Tennis $87.62 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Activision Tennis is a 1981 Atari 2600 video game by Activision. It was one of a series of sports games by Activision, which also included 1980s Activision Boxing. Activision Tennis was designed by Activision cofounder, Alan Miller. Activision Tennis is played for one set of games, in which the first player to win six games won the competition, unlike real life tennis, where competitors have to win, at least, two out of three six game sets. One of the players on the screen appears in pink; the other one in blue. Most of tennis rules applied to this game, except that there are no out of bounds shots. Shots that hit the lines were always considered inbound shots. Due to technical limitations (low resolution), the tennis ball appears as a block instead of a sphere. You will be able to master a certain skill at your own pace. Plus, you get to do all of this at the comforts of your own home or anywhere and anytime you want to.
These are some of the reasons why table tennis videos are very popular nowadays. A table tennis video will be able to show you and explain in detail what is needed to be done. Unlike with written manuals and books on developing your table tennis game, a table tennis video will be able to show you through moving images what is exactly needed to be done.
Following instructions is made easy because you have a visual image of what you need to do. Each step can be vividly outlined and you can directly see what is being done. So this means that you can easily develop your game and hone your skills at a faster rate.
Just like having your own personal trainer, a table tennis video can provide a one on one experience that can be otherwise very costly if you employ the services of a pro. Whether it is to deliver a killing serve, a thundering smash or a mind blowing spin, a table tennis video can easily teach you hoe to do it in no time at all.
But not all table tennis videos are all about training or teaching you how to become a better player. Some of these videos can be about the history of the game. There is even a table tennis video that depicts the growth of the game in China, one of the countries which have a great number of players and world champions.
You may also find a table tennis video that contains footages of hilarious moments in the sport. There you will be able to see bloopers and different funny clips that can show the lighter side of major tournament played in grand venues all over the world.
Also, if you love watching tournaments and following the career of your favorite table tennis player, you may be able to get hold of a table tennis video that has coverage of a major tournament, whether it is the Olympics or the World Table Tennis championships.
So check out your local video shops today or the internet. You will be sure to have countless hours of table tennis fun and be able to watch them over and over again.
