What type of first serve should I use?

I've been playing tennis for a few years now and have learned a few different serves. I can hit a fast but inconsistent flat serve, an accurate and consistent slice serve that is somewhat slow and recently I've learned how to hit a twist serve, but I'm not very accurate on its placement and I haven't figured out how to get more bite on it yet.

Which would be best as a first serve?

I'm not a strong server at all. I started with a flat serve and now I either serve a lefty spin, slice or a soft kick serve. (i'm left handed).

I think the best way to go is play the opponent. Unless you're looking to win all the points from an ace, I personally think seeing how your opponent responds to your serve should determine how you serve. Younger Nadal played by just getting the serve in and playing his defense/offense. In the rec play, that should work. Because if you know your second serve isn't much to threaten the opponent, than work on getting that first one in. Trust me, when your start feeling bad about that serve not going in and than double faulting you start beating yourself. It's must easier to be confident in your game and just say 'get the serve in, and then get the ball back in play'.

however if you're looking to serve and volley, than practicing the faster flat will be helpful. Placement for me has always been imagining where on the court you want to hit it, too much moving and adjust leads me to a fault. If next time you're with pals and do some serving, just do a simple drill. serve 25 or however many balls, and once the toss is up, have someone yell out 'wide' 'body' or 't' and you try to hit the serve to where they tell you to.

Tennis Serve & Return Tips : American Twist Serve in Tennis

In the amine Prince of Tennis is the Drop Shot, Twist Serve and Triple Counters possible in real life?

In the anime Prince of Tennis is Tezuka's Zero Shiki Drop Shot, Ryoma's Twist Serve or Kick Serve and Fuji's Triple Counters actually possible to perform in real life?

I think the Twist Serve and Swallow Return are possible but the drop shot and the other counters aren't.

Your opinion is vaule.

Thx in advance.

Drop shots are possible, but Tezuka's Zero Shiki is probably a different story. For the ball to roll backwards and to get that spin on the ball would take a lot of skill--if it were at all possible.

Twist Serve is doable, as many people have done it before.

Hakugei isn't. It defies all laws of physics, and quite frankly, nothing comes flying back without interference. Tsubame Gaeshi isn't either. Tennis balls are made to bounce, period. Higuma Otoshi would take a lot of precision, and also, hitting it the way Fuji does wouldn't actually give the ball the power to fly in that high of an arc.
