What is a good wood flooring to use at home for Table Tennis?


I plan on building myself a room specially for Table Tennis training and games. What is a good flooring to use? Should it be glued or floated? I don't like concrete and tile for my flooring. I only like wood. Should I use the wood flooring they use for gyms and other sports like badminton and etc?

I also watched this training videos by the professionals like Timo Boll, Kreanga, Maze DVD training video where they train in Tokyo HQ of Butterfly. The flooring they used was a yellow flooring. It's hard to describe but I'm willing to upload screen shots if necessary. If anyone knows it, it would be appriciated.

Do you think the new game Wii Fit will help people loose weight and get healthy? Will you pre-order or buy it?


I have already pre-ordered it! Can't wait to get it! I really love Wii Sports but it gets boring after awhile, I think Wii Fit will be better because it will have more to do.
Do you think it will actually help us loose weight? I'm already dieting and exercising. I do 10-15 minutes of resistance strength training a day, 2 sessions of a fifteen minute work out dvd, a short walk outside with my dogs, and 15-20 minutes of Wii Sports boxing everyday, sometiems with some Wii Sports Tennis thrown in too. I'm a special ed teacher so I am always walking at work as well. I want to loose weight for my wedding and look really good. I loe video games so I am hoping this will be a fun way for me to step up my workout. I want to look thin for my wedding so bad. Anybody else hoping Wii Fit will help them look their best?

Keep in mind that losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise. I'm sure Wii will help with the exercise portion. You also need to watch you diet. If you need help let me know.

  • Kent and Davidene,Greetings from Lagos , Nigeria . Please rest in the assurance that we are all praying out here . Kent’s visit to Lagos a few months ago was such a mighty blessing and to let you know we are indeed carrying Christ into our workplaces ! Little ‘fires’ are being ignited everywhere . We are currently engaged in a teens’ summer school where we are trying to ignite the passion in these young , active minds with amazing results so far . We have swimming and tennis training tomorrow morning which will be followed by some career counselling in the afternoon . Frankly , think we are being as blessed as the teens themselves .God bless you for your continued labour of love and thanks for keeping us updated .
