I am considering introducing these training aids for juniors.
Thanks!
I have used the Hit-A-Way.
Pros; You can take a full swing at the ball, and hit it hard.Thats not something you can really do with a backboard.
It's easy to set up.I attached it to a support pole in a garage.
It's made well.It can take alot of abuse.
Cons; You will sometimes hit the tubing.I've never been hurt, but it is annoying.
It's difficult to time hitting the ball.Since it's unwinding, not coming at you in the normal way it can feel awkward.
But you can get into a rhythm.
You will sometimes have to restart it,to get it looping around the pole tightly.
Overall,I think it is a good device.I don't tend to use it for a very long time. It's just good to take some full swings at the ball when you can't get out to a court that day.
Onthejob training (OJT) can be among the most effective ways of training workers because of its direct focus on tackling workplace challenges. However, the problem was that the effects of visual training techniques to supplement this training were not well realized. This is an important issue for companies seeking the most effective training methods for assembly tasks. This research was to determine the effects of two visual methods, a prework videos training session and a large graphic sign illustrating assembly procedures. The research question was how these supplemental methods affected the performance of assembly trainees in comparision to unstructured OJT alone. The theoritical bases of this study were information processing approach and Visual Factory Management. This book provides a model for conducting workplace research. With John Officer, US Naval Academy Head Tennis CoachTennis as a sport has attracted players who have focused solely on that pursuit without developing all around athletic skills. The innate athletic ability of many of our players is questionable due to the specific focus on tennis. There are various athletic moves on a tennis court which can be taught. The current movement training involves a series of exercises designed to improve explosiveness, agility, balance, and endurance. The exercises are done separately from hitting a tennis ball. This tape will show all the athletic moves for each individual stroke on the tennis court. The key for athletic movement is to understand how to fuse the patterns with the strokes rather than simply isolating training. The goal is to move like a top flight athlete.46 minutes. 2004.
