Which tennis racket is better and why for singles. The new head Youtek speed or the head prestige microgel.?
I am about a 3.5 player and i play singles. I have the head prestige microgel 98 sq. inch. I am wondering which one is better overall for singles, a baseline racket. They are both 98 sq. inch. Either the Head Youtek used by Novak Djokavic, or the head prestige liquid micro gel. I am wondering if anyone has hit with both of them. I know i can go to www.tenniswarehouse.com and see people reviews but i want an opinion from someone comparing to the 2 together not just talking about 1. Hopefully you have tried both of these rackets out. Thank You. Also can you tell me the pros and cons of the new youtek. Thanks a lot
The ONLY way you will know if a racket is right for you is if YOU hit with it. I know tenniswarehouse will send you demos. You can start by researching rackets on tenniswarehouse or even in tennis magazine, but the only way you will know if the racket is right for you is if you play with it yourself. I know when I am looking for a new racket, I first do some research and compare my playing tendencies (agressive baseliner) with the racket description. I also try a racket geared to my play level (USTA 4.0). Once I find a few that I think will work for me, I head to my favorite tennis store and demo the racket in the ball machine room. Good Luck!
