Tennis Racket Excellent
I dont know what kind of tennis racket i should get...can you tell me which one you think would be best?
Right now im using a Prince Triple Threat Warrior Oversized. I like it, but i find it a bit heavy, and i want a racket good for baseline play, and with excellent power. Im also 5'7 if that helps at all.
maybe you could go to a sports doctor they are usualy helpfull and can give good advice ,you could go to a regular shop specialize in sports (better if specialize in tennis but those one are hard to find in the USA).
Make sure the racket you have is not too long,that might sound silly but try to put the bottom of the racket under your armpit and make sure your fingers can reach the very end of the top of the racket.you said your racket has a oversized handle can your grabb the handle goes all the way around? i mean like if there is a big space between your thumb and the other finger you might have a harder time for a good grip.
about brand there almost all the same now days just,if you wanna good quality you have to put the price and anything under 75 dollars is not going to be that good.

How to Fulfill A Forehand Blow in Tennis-4 Smooth Steps
The forehand slice is certainly common in the game of Tennis. This blow is broadly used to hit the ball diagonally over the net. The forehand slash refers to smacking the ball when your forearm is facing the net. When the ball is on the side of your body grasping the racket (right side if you are right handed, left side if you are left handed) you will be using the forehand. To hit a excellent forehand move, follow these steps:
Step 1: Get ready and get in position. If you know the ball is going to your strong side, prepare to hit a forehand. First, side step (or shuffle) over to the ball. At this point your body should be facing the net, but bear in mind to keep your eyes on the ball.
Step 2: Open up your stance. This is the part where you need to turn yourself sideways. To do this, turn your backfoot so it is parallel with the baseline and the net. Simultaneously, take a small step forward with your other foot (this foot will be your left if you are right handed, or your right foot if you are left handed). Bend your knees and prepare for the ball to enter into your hitting range.
Step 3: Make contact with the ball. This step should follow less than a few seconds after the second step. Your swing of the racket should follow your step forward, causing the whole process to be a single, fluent motion. Your racket should follow an upside down arc pattern. The stroke should start up high about shoulder height, swing down to below the waist, and then be traveling upwards again when it makes contact with the ball. Topspin is your goal when playing Tennis.
Step 4: Follow through. After the contact is made, make sure you follow through with a complete swing. Do not simply make contact with the ball and then freeze. Rather, keep your arm moving until the slice is completed, and then prepare yourself for the ball to be returned. Great job, you completed a forehand slice!
