Is the decision for Serena's fate taking too long?

I really want to know if she is going to play the Aussie Open or not. I only want to get tickets if she is going to be playing. Obviously, i want her to play and can not believe that there may be a chance she isn't. Officials made sure she wouldn't win the US Open by giving her a point penalty and now they may cost her another Grand Slam. Anyways, this decision should not be taking this long; her fans need to know. So what's going on!!!?

yeah it kinda is taking forever...
but maybe they've made a decision, and she is not gonna be able to play in January in Australia, and they're just messing with her......

Obviously, if she doesnt play, it would suck, seeing as she is the number 1 player, and one of the best (if not the best) player on tour...

"I think all of us would love to have it resolved sooner rather than later," said Allaster. "It would be in the best interests for the sport and definitely the best interests for Serena."---

They should just hurry and announce her fate...
anyways, I hope that if she is banned from the AU Open, seeing that -- she "could face bans from one or more of the four major tournaments."

The Death Penalty: For and Against

The Death Penalty: For and Against

$42.84

Two distinguished social and political philosophers take opposing positions in this highly engaging work. Louis P. Pojman justifies the practice of execution by appealing to the principle of retribution: we deserve to be rewarded and punished according to the virtue or viciousness of our actions. He asserts that the death penalty does deter some potential murderers and that we risk the lives of innocent people who might otherwise live if we refuse to execute those deserving that punishment. Jeffrey Reiman argues that although the death penalty is a just punishment for murder, we are not morally obliged to execute murderers. Since we lack conclusive evidence that executing murderers is an effective deterrent and because we can foster the advance of civilization by demonstrating our intolerance for cruelty in our unwillingness to kill those who kill others, Reiman concludes that it is good in principle to avoid the death penalty, and bad in practice to impose it. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A rally in tennis is a sequence of shots within a point. A rally starts with serve and return of the serve, and a sequence of shots until the point is won by one of the players. Tennis is a sport usually played between two players (singles) or between two teams of two players each (doubles). Each player uses a racquet that is strung to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over a net into the opponents court. The modern game of tennis originated in the United Kingdom in the late 19th century as lawn tennis which has heavy connections to various field/lawn games as well as to the ancient game of real tennis. After its creation, tennis spread throughout the upperclass Englishspeaking population before spreading around the world. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. !!SERENA FALLS AFTER PENALTY ON MATCH POINT!! FOOT FAULT OR BLIND LINESMAN?

What major changes would you make to the ATP/WTA?

I think the two tours should be combined into the PTA - Professional Tennis Association.

I think females should be allowed to qualify for male events.

I think fans should be allowed to shout during points.

I think there should be no rules on clothing or tennis racket construction or stringing.

I think on court coaching should be allowed for men too.

I think players should decide on court whether or not to play tiebreaks

I think there should be a live camera in the locker rooms (public area only ;) )

I think there should either be no instant replay or there should be unlimited instant replay (not this reward/penalty crap)

I could go on, so what do you think?

i don't agree with most of your ideas except "I think on court coaching should be allowed for men too."

add :

- seeded players should play from the 1st round in ATP 1000 (Masters) !

  • I Think its up to the Country to enforce actions.

Take Australia for Example, the sacked Symonds for being stupid.

India on the other hand threatened to pull out of the tour if Harbajhan's ban wasent lifted…
