Tennis Nutcracker

Where to buy for Christmas?
I need to know a good cheap store I can start Christmas shopping at. I am really broke and everything is so expensive this year.
I also want to know a good way how to make money. I am on two basketball teams, dance, am in the Nutcracker, play tennis, and get five tests a week. I am only 11 so it is pretty tough. Thanks!!!!!!!!
Walmart is a good store to start at. There are some good prices at places like JC Penny's and Kohls. Maybe you could see if your mom or dad will pay you money for doing certain chores like raking the leaves or shoveling snow. (depending on what you have)
Happy Holidays!

THE NUTCRACKER - TENNIS VERSION
Entertainment, What Do You Like?
Entertainment, What Do You Like?
Lets face it, we all like to be entertained, don’t we? What ever medium or format it may come in. Whether it be on the television, computer, cinema, stage, stadium or even local events. We go to see them because we want to be entertained long enough to indulge ourselves in the moment. Life is too short, so grab the moment that comes your way, which is what I say anyway.
Television is in our homes and for the most part dominates the living room mainly, but for a few there is a television in every room. Lucky them! It is there for the convenience of being able to turn it on and choose a time and channel to watch something we may be interested in. That is if you are in control of the remote.
Also, with the television we can now connect to thousands of channels all around the world via satellite connection. Providers of this service often charge a premium for access.
Our more recent cousin to the television called the computer has a screen and a box of tricks so we can be entertained in other ways as well as educated or even being creative. This is one of my favourite addictions because of the recent adding of broadband internet access. Now the humble computer is suddenly a wealth of information as well as a link to even more of the outside world, meaning connecting with other people who happen to be connected in the same way as you are. This having to do with forums, interest groups or social media sites. In some ways we are still being entertained by being connected.
Consider this possibility of having all of this connected in another way. I found this software that allows you to connect to the satellite channels and watch what you want to through your computer. I found it at this address: http://tinyurl.com/profitmall
It is the 4th one on the list and it says - SatelliteDirects online TV technology allows you to watch over 3,500 HD channels right on your PC. There are No subscriptions/monthly fees, NO hardware to install and NO bandwith limits. Cancel your cable service today and enjoy our service 24/7. Have a look, I’m sure you will be surprised at the cost as well!
Going to the Cinema is another way we like to be entertained. The latest and greatest that we absolutely have to see on the big screen. I like to see the ones that I feel would be wasted on the small screen for one reason or another. Ones like The Lord of the Rings comes to mind first. Dances with Wolves starring Kevin Costner was another one that I liked because of the scenery. Lately I fancy seeing the more recent one advertised here in the UK called Avitar which is a more computer generated film but the effects of another world dreamed up by some people with a very good imagination, I can hardly wait to see it.
On stage around Christmas time there are the pantomimes, big stage productions like The Nutcracker, or Phantom of the Opera. Then there is the one we saw that I liked called Zorro which was really great to see. When was the last time you visited a stage production and help to support that form of entertainment? What was your favourite to see? Would you recommend them to your friends? This is the best way to get a message out about something that is worth doing or seeing, if someone you know and trust recommends that you go and see it.
Stage productions are quite a lot better sometimes than watching them on the television. I mean it is live right? If something goes wrong on the night, it can be that little bit more entertaining.
Sports can be considered quite entertaining you know. In a stadium you could be viewing a football game, ice hockey, tennis match or even if you are lucky enough, an Olympic event of some sort. All of this in one form or another can be considered entertainment.
What about hobbies, are they considered entertainment? It can be to the individual or if it is a hobby that involves others watching then it can be entertainment for those who are watching some fantastic thing you are doing.
I have a friend that has a remote control racing car which he races to a high standard and goes out to venues at different places around the country and participates in the races. He is into it in a big way because he does all his own adjustments according to the type of track he will be racing, right down to they type of tyres he will be using on the car.
Another consideration would be some type of work that could be considered entertaining. To a small group of individuals that are producing what will be seen, it is their work that is being done. Sports commentators for instance, the actors in a television program, or on stage. What about the players in a game? They are in a way entertaining the people who watch as well as themselves.
What ever you consider as entertainment, may I suggest that you find new ways to keep entertaining not only yourself but those around you. You could be the one that helps someone else be entertained enough to forget their troubles for just a moment in time.
Grab that moment in time and be happy! Have a great New Year in 2010.

About the Author
So, you want to know about me, well where do I start. I was born in the USA in Arkansas. I now live in the UK for the past 23 years with my wife that I met through a penpal agency. I love writing and would like to create enough income to allow me to write more often.
Currently I am working on a western novel dated around 1876 starting off in the Montana territory. I write at it for fun right now, but I would like to one day have it published.
