Do i have a chance to get into Philips Exeter Acedemy?
I'd like to know if there was a good chance i could get in with these qualifications:
I have a 4.0, i'm on honor role.
Member of the National Junior Honor Society.
I play tennis and run track.
I take 2 honors classes and 1 ninth grade class (i'm in 8th grade).
I'm a member of envirmental club, and in student consil.
I also volunteer at the library, and anywhere else i can.
We really can't help you without an SSAT score. Lot's of kids have a 4.0 and it means different things at different schools. PEA accepts about 20% of applicants and most are qualified. Schools like Exeter, St. Paul's and Andover are like getting into the ivy league. It helps if you're a highly competitive athlete, a minority or from a state that doesn't send many candidates (reand not from New England , the Mid Atlantic or California). If you're international, be from anywhere except Asia!

National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) - 40 Years
Do you think that I would be able to get into Duke, and if not how to try harder?
I'm freshman in high school and I really want to go to Duke. I have a 4.1 grade average, I'm on the JV math team, in the Junior Classical League, the National Latin Honor Society, the National Honor Society, I play tennis and piano. I haven't taken the SAT's yet so I can't give you those scores. Do you guys think that I have a shot at getting in, and if not how can I improve myself. Thanks so much for answers!
it mostly depends on what your SAT score is,, if it's not good enough, you won't get in.
