how to play tennis (instructions) to play?
hi guys
i just need 5 instructions or steps to play tennis in easy language i mean simple english language
I'll try to keep it simple.
1. Learn all professional grips on racquet. It will determine your swing. (For your forehand: I recommend Semi-Western for power or Western for spin and for your backhand I recommend your common two-handed backhand or a one-handed Continental or Eastern backhand.
2. Learn the mechanics of every swing. Have a friend or if you're rich, a professional instructor, to hit balls at you and hit them. Start very slowly so you can learn your swing then hit them faster and faster. You will eventually learn how to make power shots or spin shots. Remember to pull your racquet below your waist on your side and then push it upwards until it is over your shoulder. Remember to lean into your shots and look at the ball.
3. Practice volleying which is hitting the ball at the net. You should use the Continental grip for both forehand and backhand. You should get used to volleying accurately and with perfect hand-eye coordination.
4. Learn slicing, lobbing, and drop shotting. Slicing is hitting the ball from your shoulder to your waist so it brushes the ball downards. It will make the ball bounce low and confuse the opponent. Lobbing is hitting the ball very high so it goes over the opponent. Drop shotting is a slice except you should brush under the ball so it bounces backwards.
5. Most important of all: Learn how to serve. This is easy since you don't need a professional, you should buy a basket and fill it with 50 balls. Go to an empty court and keep emptying the basket and then refill it (if you have the right basket it can pick up the balls for you). You will master your serves after months of doing that and you will be good. Your serve grip should be Continental or Eastern.

How To Master The Table Tennis Game
Apart from maintaining fitness and the exercising of the muscles, table tennis is a fun game to indulge in no wonder the interest and efforts that has been put into learning the game has risen incredibly. The whole game of table tennis is very cost effective in terms of acquisition of equipment and neither does it need the availability of coming up with a large team and the beauty of the game is the option of even playing it indoors. Here are a few tips on how to start mastering the game of table tennis.
Finding a coach that will offer you gradual lessons that will allow you to progress is a good place to start. However, this may not be a viable option for everyone because it may be difficult finding time to train may be difficult not to mention the cost of paying the coach to offer the lessons. But there is a simpler way to go about it. You can now purchase table tennis training DVDs.
There are a variety of table tennis instructional DVDs available through the internet and can be bought at cheaply. These DVDs provide easy to follow instructions in a step by step procedure and also on ways to give the perfect stroke but keep in mind it is hard to know all the strokes at a go. Thus embark on learning one at a time.
One can get a ping-pong instructional DVD which is considered as a good trainer. It has a compilation of all the steps that will help you make a winning shot showing you on how to increase your finesse and be more on the aggressive while on defense. There are a few subtle diferences. The accomodations at Saddlebrook are much nicer and the resort has a few other activities that you can partake in during the offtime. They also have a fitness academy onsite at saddlebrook, its extra but worth going to for a few days so they can develop for you a routine you can follow year round. As far as the tennis and instruction goes its pretty equal. You will hit more balls at IMG but be tested more at Saddlebrook on your fitness
