Tennis Grips Eastern Western

which grip should I use? semi-western or eastern? (tennis)?

i'm a total beginner.
Some people say that beginners "must" start by eastern or continental. but others say I should use semi-western since it's gonna be hard to change grip once I get use to it.
what do you think about this?

i think you can use any kind of grip you feel comfortable. eastern grip is recommended to beginners because it is the most natural grip (like a hand-shake). try to hit forehands correctly with this grip. when you are ready, you can ask your coach about adding spin to your stroke. many players feel they can produce topspin more easily using semi-western or full-western grip. however, you can also hit topspin forehand using eastern grip. furthermore, learn to hit your strokes with either grip alternatingly (i.e., one stroke using eastern, next stroke using western and so on) so you can hit with the same accuracy. that way, you don't have to stick to one kind of grip for the rest of your life.
hope it helps :)

Tennis School - Guide to Grips and holding the Racquet

Easy question? Just need to clarify if im right. tennis question-have to know your grips to answer!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you are holding a racket in a semi-western forehand grip, would you just have to move your racket to your backhand side to already have an extreme eastern backhand grip?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate the continental grip. I'm not used to it, maybe that's why. I tilt my raquet just a little.
