Tennis Grip Tapes I need quick solution to be able to get a better grip onto my tennis racket?
The handle on my racket has worn out, and it the grip isn't good anymore, it slips whenever I hit the ball and once it flew right out. No matter how tight I grab it, it always ends up tilted and makes the ball go up in the sky. It didn't do this before because the handle was fine, but after hours of practicing, my sweat from my hands tore it up lol.
Can duct tape help the grip? I have a match after school and I need to find a way to get a good grip on my racket!
thanks!!
No, not duct tape. Bad idea. That will be slicker than any worn-out grip...
For about $5 (sometimes less), you can get a replacement grip at most sporting goods stores. Just get one of those and put it on. If you can't figure out how to replace it, ask if a coach or other player might do it for you. You can have the store do it for you, but they'll usually charge $10 for it, and that's a waste.
Your other option would be to buy some overgrips, and cover up the worn out grip that's there already. Overgrips are cheaper than replacement grips and are easier to put on, but they will wear out faster. And you can't replace a grip with just an overgrip. You need to have an actual grip underneath the overgrip, or the overgrip will move around on the bare handle.
Unfortunately, there's nothing you can really do for the match that, well, you're probably playing right now, or in an hour or so. Maybe somebody on the team has some extra overgrips that they'll let you use/sell you? That's the only option for fixing it right away.

Important racquetball accessories
What racquetball accessories are important for your game?
The first thing you need when you play racquetball is a racquet. After all, the racquet is your lifeline to the ball.
Choosing the perfect racquet might seem like it’s a simple task. But, in the last 25 years, technology has advanced so much that you will need professional advice to pick up the right racquet. Keep in mind, racquetball accessories become more vital to your game as you move up from intermediate to advanced levels.
When choosing racquets, be aware of the gauge of the strings in the racquet. Always choose high quality racquets. Good strings enable you to play your shots more effectively. The power you can generate from the racquet decides how well you hit the ball. Tight strings generate more power. The racquet itself may be made of aluminum, graphite, fiberglass or wood. The handle should not exceed 27 inches and the head has the distinctive teardrop shape.
Equally important racquetball accessories are the grips on the racquet. Typically, racquets have a super small or extra small grip. Small grips are preferred because they allow more control. Your glove size will help you decide the size of the grip. In any case, buying small is recommended even if you’re new to the game because you can always increase the size of the grip with tape, if you feel the need for it. Professionals generally prefer smooth replacement grips because this keeps the racquet secure and safe in the hand.
Grip enhancements help you keep a firm control on the racquetball. It is better to avoid flat grips. Instead, opt for an ergonomic design so that your hand feels comfortable and allows you to play a powerful, controlled and fluid game.
Balls are racquetball accessories that you cannot do without. Balls are typically made of rubber compounds and they are blue or green in color. Professional balls are faster and are most suitable for serious play. Don’t even think of coming to court with a single ball because a powerful shot can break the ball or rupture it. Bring a canister instead.
Racquetball accessories are incomplete without gloves. Though you are not required to wear these, gloves are good for the hand and they keep you playing for hours without your hand feeling the strain. Gloves with mesh or open holes are preferred because they keep the hand dry and cool. Leather, sheepskin and synthetic material are preferred because of the excellent grip they give.
When you choose racquetball accessories, you cannot leave out the shoes. A lot depends on what you’re wearing on your foot. Good sports shoes must provide good traction so that the player can move and stop at will. Choose soles made of gummy material, as these are breathable and strong.

It’s like tennis grip but it is a spray. Some of the girls used it at the pole convention. It’s never damaged any poles, in fact I didn’t realize that some grips could damage poles. I just want to make sure that the grip I use is ok… very important
