Good shoes and jeans for guys?

I need nice shoes and jeans, and was wondering what some good brands are. My current pair of shoes is actually casual leather, but I would like something even more casual. I like to buy nice stuff, but some things I absolutely won't buy:

Shoes:
Vans
Converse
Tennis Shoes (although the Puma/Lacoste-type sneakers are okay)
Air Force 1s or anything similar

Jeans:

American Eagle/Abercrombie/Hollister/related brands
Levis, I have enough of them.

I know that Diesel, Rock and Republic, etc. are good brands for girls, but I don't know if they are good for guys as well. Price isn't an issue, as long as it is not obscene. I am a teen BTW.

For jeans you should try stuff from Diesel, 7 for all mankind, true religion, guess, rock and republic or joe's jeans. They are all really great companies. Have fun!

Girls help me out with this one!!!!?

I wanna try the blazer with jeans and t-shirt look. Is this a look you are attracted to with guys or just one that says I'm a schmuck?! I was planning on going to the goodwill and getting one but not sure if I should get a black one or dark brown one. I think I look better in brown but there is something about black that just makes a guy feel sexy. I also want to get some new brown suede shoes. The ones that look like tennis shoes but are more dressy, I think the diesels look the best. what do you think?
I care about what I look like because I have done the same style for years and am tired of it, jeans t-shirt tennies and ball cap. I wanna look a little more dashing and this will only enhance my personality to help me feel better about myself. clothes don't make the man but it sure does help the self confidence.

I like the blazer with jeans look, as long as the shirt underneath isn't too dressy. The point is to dress down the jacket. I personally like black better as it goes with more and it's better contrast for whatever shirt is under it, but it's obviously up to you. Goodwill is a good idea - update your wardrobe for cheap!
