Tennis Court Water
Why are there water spouts in the fence at a high school tennis court?
A metal pipe, the same as thickness etc. of the one at the top of the chain link fence, comes down and has a water spout with the handle removed. There are at least two of these. What are they for? Can water run through the top pipe???
i was wondering the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think it might be for washing the courts? i don't know... sorry, i really want to know too

Today's water drinking fountain is the result of over 100 years of development. The first water fountains available to the public were developed in the early 1900s by Halsey Willard Taylor and Luther Haws. They were motivated to provide a safe and sanitary drink of water to the public in large part because of the death of Halsey W. Taylor's father from contaminated water. As the water fountain became more common in the lives of the people there was a demand for chilled water. This led first to ice-cooled water fountains and then ammonia refrigerated water fountains. Later in the 1950s, wall-mounted water fountains were developed for use in public schools, hospitals and other buildings with high traffic. In the 1960s the industry recognized that physically challenged people had difficulty obtaining a drink of water from water fountains. Therefore, laws and designs changed to make water fountains accessible to all people. Additional developments were made to offer a drink of water as contamination-free as possible. Efforts were made to eliminate all lead and other metal contaminates from the water.
All of our concrete water fountains meet the federal regulations established by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They meet state and federalhandicapped requirements when installed in accordance with the clearances defined by the ADA. In addition our concrete water fountains are considered "lead free" as determined by all known definitions including ANSI/NSF Standard 61, Section 9, California Proposition 65 and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Our concrete water fountains are accessible for the handicap. There is plenty of knee clearance for people in wheelchairs and an easy front push button. There are a number of available options such as concrete or chrome bowls, side faucet, freeze proof valve and tamper resistant concrete bubbler guard. Rose is spot on correct.
Serena never “loses”, she just doesn't play well enough to win.
That is her statement every time she loses: I just didn't play well today.
She never gives credit to the other player for outplaying her.
She IS a sore loser and has zero class.
The outrageous outfits, tiaras, etc., do not belong on a tennis court.
We need more Henin's, Clisters, Grafs and Navratilovas and less of the diva types that think the tennis court is their personal fashion runway.
I can only imagine Serena as a golfer…

Oh wow… I can't find cheap tennis racquets anywhere. Only the $200+ ones. I once saw a tennis racquet for $5, but it was for little kids. XD
I think the tennis court in my suburb is the only free tennis court. xD
It's not very good though, because you have to ask the suburb's office thing for the net and stuff…
