Tennis Books Looking for a baseball book about a boy who becomes a good batter, learning with a broken tennis ball machine.
I don't remember much about this book, but it involves a young boy living in the city I think. With a single mom, and he somehow finds this broken tennis ball machine and uses it to help him with batting pracice. He gets really good, and I think makes it to the big leagues. Looking For A Tennis Tip? Consider The Source.
With so many "experts" claiming to have the latest, greatest insider information, it is hard for new and old players alike to know where to find a reliable tennis tip when needed. However, the popularity of the sport virtually ensures that anyone looking for help can find it - if they look in the right places. Taking time to consider options will ensure that ambitious players don't utilize the wrong information from the wrong sources.
Friends
Okay, so they offer great relationship advice, and even recommend that great Chinese restaurant across town. However, they may not be the greatest source of information on the court. Why? First of all, friends are more likely to relay what works for them, and not necessarily what may work for others. While friends on the court may offer some realistic and tangible tips, they also lack the professional perspective required to give universally applicable tips.
Club Pros
As experienced players in their own right, club pros posses a wide array of experience and education necessary to implement proper technique in the right situations. In addition, they also have experience teaching other players of all levels, so there isn't a tennis tip they haven't given. However, they can be pricey, and numerous lessons are often needed to achieve the desired results.
Classes
Whether at a local college or club, classes can offer a great way for players, especially beginners, to learn basic or advanced ideas. They require a great amount of commitment, though, and may not address individual needs of students.
Books
With information literally at the fingertips of their readers, books offer a great way for players to learn about form, function, and theory without ever leaving their living rooms. However, those looking to books for the perfect tennis tip should make sure that they actually practice what they read about.
CD's and DVD's
Like books, CD's and DVD's offer a great way for players to learn tips in the comfort of their homes. However, CD's also offer a way to take information "on the run," allowing them to play and replay tips while they practice. DVD's, on the other hand, offer a great way for players to accurately visualize and mimic movement without having to pay for pricey lessons or attend classes.
Online Sources
A great way to find timely and accurate information is to consult with online sources. Often, professional players and experienced pros will host websites, offering information for sale in a variety of formats, as well as free and valuable tips. As a result, players gain a better overall view of what type of information they'll be buying into.
Those looking for helpful and accurate tennis information have a wide variety of sources available at their fingertips. While many of these sources are reliable, taking time to understand the pros and cons of each one will guarantee that players find the best match for their needs-and the best tennis tip.

How to be 'GIRLIE':
1] buy tops in junior or misses dept – that are cut to fit women [ no band T shirts, etc. - save then for mowing the lawn or washing the car ].

3] add a feminine belt to each outfit, that matches the top or the bottoms – crochet, chain, embroidered, cut out, velvet, etc.
4] buy shoes that you DON'T see on guys – ballet flats, low wedges, cute sandals [ NOT flip flops, unless very girly color or design ]
a] if you need to wear workboots, etc, get a girl color, or add girly shoelaces
b] slip ons/sneakers should be obvious girl style, in color or design.

Well I have been trying to submit a whole long post full of information and it never comes up.Here it is again for the 3rd time1. Luxilon do not pay players to use their string. The top players use it because they want it. luxilonracquetsports.com/?p=6322. The string, as with racquets you think a player uses, is quite often not the string the player is using. eg. Nadal using PHT.3. Pro players change their racquets often, because they are literally wearing out the strings that quickly, even Big Banger! They also want the consistency of feel, but if you have seen a top players strings up close after playing 8-10 games, you will see Big Banger heavily notched, and other strings simply just snap if you as a pro player at this level play with them for too long, which is obviously something you do not want happening in the middle of a point when you are playing a million dollars!!!4. We use a lot of Big Banger Mains with Multi-filament crosses in an attempt to get the best of both worlds for our customers. You still get nice pop, whilst softening out the string bed and improving feel, with the added advantage of having your mains stay relatively straight in comparison, because of the stiffness of the string. i.e. A lot less string fiddling and readjustment just because you happen to hit with top spin. You can use string savers, ala Roger Federer, to help conserve the softer string, since the wear on the crosses primarily comes from the mains rubbing on the crosses. If you or any of your readers are remotely serious about their tennis, then I suggest you read “Technical Tennis” by Rod Cross & Crawford Lindsey topserve.com.au/index.php/tennis/tennis-books-dvds/technical-tennis.htmlIf you or your readers are religiously serious about their tennis, then I suggest you read “The Physics and Technology of Tennis” by Howard Brody, Rod Cross & Crawford Lindsey topserve.com.au/index.php/tennis/tennis-books-dvds/the-physics-and-technology-of-tennis.html All 435 8.5″x11″ pages worth. That should cover most of it.I hope this post have been useful to you and thank you for reading.Enjoy!
