Betting Exchange $60.54 A betting exchange is a form of bookmaking in which the operator offsets its risk perfectly through technology, such that the effect to the customer is that customers are seen to bet between themselves. Coined because of its apparent similarities to a stock exchange it is often defined as a stock exchange for bets it is therefore commonly seen as a peertopeer gambling website, when in fact it is more closely described as manytomany. Equally, it is often suggested, or commonly believed, that the operator is merely acting as a broker between parties for the placement of bets, rather than a bookmaker, although the reality is that bets are being accepted and offered simultaneously through the exchanges technological interface. Since it is only the exchange operator who holds a bookmakers licence in most cases, the legal and licencing requirements invariably dictate that the legal contract for all bets be with the operator itself and not between customers. Most betting on a betting exchange has been a form of fixed odds gambling, although recently the phenomenon was also briefly established in the sports spread betting market. Weighing the Odds in Sports Betting $36.53 Sports betting can be attacked intelligently. Smart sports bettors do not gamble the same way as tourists play roulette or retirees play the slot machines. Instead, smart sports bettors are making bets that they have thought through carefully with supporting logic and/or research. The purpose of this book is to give you tools to succeed at sports betting, to show you how to evaluate, compare and view sports betting from an analytical perspective, not from a gambling perspective. |

Betting on Theories $210.3 This book is a major new contribution to decision theory, focusing on the question of when it is rational to accept scientific theories. The author examines both Bayesian decision theory and confirmation theory, refining and elaborating the views of Ramsey and Savage. He argues that the most solid foundation for confirmation theory is to be found in decision theory, and he provides a decisiontheoretic derivation of principles for how many probabilities should be revised over time. Professor Maher defines a notion of accepting a hypothesis, and then shows that it is not reducible to probability and that it is needed to deal with some important questions in the philosophy of science. A Bayesian decisiontheoretic account of rational acceptance is provided together with a proof of the foundations for this theory. A final chapter shows how this account can be used to cast light on such vexing issues as verisimilitude and scientific realism. Author: Maher, Patrick/ Skyrms, Brian/ Adams, Ernest W. 2010 Australian Open - Tennis Betting
Hi, is there any tennis ball cricket team in chennai for frndly match during weekends, btwn 6 and 9 am?
Hi, we are a tennis balll cricket team, we like to play friendly or bet matches during weekends, between 6 and 9 am, if intrested please do reply me..
Come to tiruvanmiyur beach in the morning or evening. The ground beside it have lot of kids playing matches. We used to play there when we had time. Also the kids are quite friendly.

Yeah, that someone even makes book on cricket seems astounding…BUT I remember a pro tennis betting scandal a few years back (a couple of players were throwing, or alleged to have thrown, matches), and that was equally a headscratcher – who bets on tennis??
