Tennis Balls Dog My dog, a pitbull, ate parts of tennis balls. Does he need to go to the vet?
It seems that he's having trouble pooping, although he did poop this morning. Is it possible that he's ill from the tennis balls or that they have him constipated? He's been moping around and doesn't want to eat much it seems.

It really depends on how big the pieces were. If it was practically the whole thing intact, it would probably be good to take him in, because it's most likely to obstruct his intestinal tract. However, if they were smaller pieces, I would just see how it goes. Signs that he has an obstruction would be not defecating, not eating, or eating & regurgitating.
Also, tennis balls cannot poison your dog, as previous people have mentioned, because they are not even digestible!
