Is some gray good? Morals-vs-law?
I have seen may instances where people support some instaces of moral gray areas....This country was founded on the principle of religous freedom and the seperation of church and state....but more and more I see a smaller gap....who gets to decide what gray areas are acceptable and which are not....Like abortion....murder is illegal, but he supreme court says, it legal the right to choose....the dealth penality...is only some murder legal....
Gay marriage...is it against what I believe as a christian, yes. However, is that enough grounds to say legally they can't marry....I though religions was suppose to be out of gov......
I don't want to here a debate about abortion or gay marriage, they are just good examples...I want your opinion as to why some in some cases we all say you can't put religion and gov. together, and others we use religion to pass laws...like banning gay marriage? Do you know how to define the line....
Yes...what our founding fathers wanted..and what we've become is greatly being challenged these days. They intended for freedom of religion - AND always the separation of church and state...but the church (though primarily of certain protestant sects - not all churches) are pushing their own beliefs into the government to be swallowed by all. NEVER what our founding fathers intended. It's important to remember that "Christian" is a sweeping remark. Catholics are Christian but do not believe the same way that Baptists believe who do not believe the same way that Methodists believe, that do believe the same way that Lutheran's believe that do not believe the same way that Presbyterians or Episcopalians and on and on and on...believe. Not ALL Christian churches take the Bible literally - some take it entirely literally - some not literally at all - and most - a little of both..lol. SO?...who decides then...not "Christians" as even then there would be arguments as to what is right or wrong...which is exactly what are fore-fathers foresaw...and why church should always be kept out of the government..which is for ALL people. You can't have one religious sect dictating their own version of morals to all others. I believe raise you children the way you believe in the church you believe in - if you want to pray a certain way while in school - or have religion taught in school - send your children to parochial or Christian or whatever religion you are school...and not to public school then. You know when I was young they still prayed in school. Two of my best friends were Jewish. They had to "remain seated" while the rest of stood and said our (very) Christian prayer. And those of us that were Catholic?...were told NOT to genuflect? I still remember being in grade school and already knowing that God didn't shine on any of that. Don't think it wouldn't happen like that again - it would. Same thing on a grander scale would (and is already) happen in our government as soon as certain so called Christians start dictating morals to the US Government - regardless of other religions and beliefs. Scary thing.

Hey, I received your email, and I gotta say... Those pictures were really cool, and it makes me kind of interested in sneakers... I never cared about sneakers until now.... lol I'm serious...
So umm, my opinions are:
I liked number 4, it looks really cool and stylish
Number 5 is really cool if you like that color, and it is a little bit more, "fancy" than the others.
Number 7 is also cool because it is kind of simple, but if you really wanna put some style into your shoe, I suggest you pick #4.
7 if you don't want to have any additional decorations for your shoe, and number 5 would be my second choice.
So my final answer is number 4.
