String Savers

My strings on my tennis racket move quite a bit during play and it is quite new. Wil string savers stop this?
I think it mainly happens when I get a lot of spin on my shot. Im not good enough for it to really effect my game but I spent quite bit of time pushing my strings back into position and its quite annoying. Also if these things do help, should I use them across my whole racket or just the parts where the strings are already moving most often?
When you watch the pros play, you'll notice that they stop to readjust the strings on their racquet, too, so we all have that problem to some extent. And you're right, it usually happens when you end up putting spin on shots.
I think string savers is just a gadget to part you from your money. They are used so that the strings don't rub each other so much that they end up being cut through. In normal wear and tear, they do that and you need to restring it over time. But that doesn't sound like your problem. It sounds like your racquet was already strung with a looser tension..
Once a racquet is strung, I don't think you can't get the string tightened without putting on a new set of strings. So you will have to live with pushing them back to position or pay out some money to have it re-strung to the tension of your liking.

How to Use String Savers
winter is quiet, can my bow be the same?
i have limb savers, string chubs, dampers on my cam, but for some reason my bow is still quite loud. and its kinda of loud on the horrific level where the deer might just jump as soon as i let go. now i know there is now super silent bow but i do know that mine is louder than most. is there any way i can make it less loud without the budget of a rich man? thanks
Google Bob Ragsdale. Bob has a website just for archery hunting. If you don't find your answer there send an e-mail. Also, to help find the source of the noise have a friend stand near the bow when you shoot to see if he/she can determine the location. I did this for a friend and found his arrows were in the quiver too far and the tips were rubbing the plastic. I know what a pain it is to have a loud bow. By the way. A deer will drop a little even with quiet bows because their hearing is so acute. So aim a fuzz lower than you would on your target. Also try Deerhunting.net and go to the Q&A. Great resources.
