sizing tennis racquet grips
What do you think of this tennis racquet?
I'm just beginning tennis this summer, and i want to make sure this racquet is okay. The grip is 4 3/8. I was told the grip size depends on your height so ill just let ya'll know that I'm 5'6.

may i add, from teh tip of my middle finger to thebottom of my palm is about 6 1/4 inches.
the grip size depends on how big your hand is...not your height....that looks like a good racket...from what i'm looking at, it's a light racket meaning it's good for beginners

Buying a Tennis racquet online help!!?
I am planning on buying a Prince O3 hybrid Shark online. However i do not have a clue about the grip size, string to use, and tension. How do i figure out whats best for my racquet and me! Please help!!
a) grip size - open your palm and measure the distance from the bottom of your thumb knuckle up to the tip of your middle finger. you might have about more than 4 inches. that's your grip (#0: 4", #1: 4 1/8", #2: 4 1/4", #3: 4 3/8", #4: 4 1/2"). when in doubt, go for lower size, since you can put a layer of overgrip to increase the diameter later.
b) string: try natural gut if you like it, but synthetic gut is ok. select thinner string (17, 18 gauge) for more feel, or select thicker (15, 16, 16L gauge) for durability.
c) tension: lower tension for power, higher for control. be advised that higher tension causes more shock and vibration transmitted to your arm.
for instance, try Wilson K Gut 18 strung at 55 lbs.
ask the website for a demo (you will be scheduled for trying the racquet at some court they designate and they bring the requested racquet, or you can bring the racquet home and try for yourself).

wow!!! ur holding a tennis grip and the ball is coming??? FOR ME, a tennis player, i would hit it to score a point!!!
anyway… i'm not helping, am i?? lolxx.. but come to think of it… when ur holding the tennis racquet, and a ball comes to u… you wouldn't think twice to hit it.. its natural… but when God throws a tennis ball at it.. would u hit it??
