Racquetball Racquet Do you think I would be able to tell any difference between a 170 and 180 gram racquetball racquet from Head?
I am looking at buying either a Head Liquid Metal 170 or 180 racquetball racquet. I've been playing approx. once a week consistently for a few years now and looking to upgrade. I've been using the Head Ti 175 and it's been extremely durable and good for me. I'm about 5'11", 195....I have more of a control game than power game. Which would be better for me? Any tips or advice?
I use a Head Liquid Metal 170 and have found it excellent to use as like you, i've got more of a control game than a power game.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Racquetball was introduced as a World Games sport at the 1985 World Games in London and discontinued after 1993. Racquetball is a racquet sport played with a hollow rubber ball in an indoor or outdoor court. Joe Sobek is credited with inventing racquetball in 1950, adding a stringed racquet to the game to increase velocity and control. Unlike most racquet sports, such as tennis, badminton or squash, there is no obstacle net or tin to hit the ball over. Also, the courts walls, floor, and ceiling are legal playing surfaces, with only the upper part of the back wall (above 12 feet) being outofbounds. RACQUETBALL Throwing a racquet?
In a racquetball game, if one is chasing after a ball but can not reach it, instead the player throws the racquet, which by some miracle(skill) hits the ball and scores a point. Is it a point, loss or serve, or a re-do? Thank you.
I'm going to assume that the rule regarding this for racquetball is the same as that in tennis. In tennis, the rules state that you must be in control of (holding) the racquet when it hits the ball. Especially because racquetball racquets usually have wrist straps on them to prevent them from flying about if you accidentally let go. So yeah, that would be a loss of serve (or loss of serve and point for your opponent if you are using rally scoring).
I’m sure everyone has hit the regulars but I will throw a few out that you might not have heard yet: * Rock Band. You will be a god among men if you can make room for it and bring it. You will make more friends in your dorm this way than you would going out to parties every night. * Likewise, a Wii with Smash Brothers and something along the lines. Settle your arguments in the game. * Bring some kind of sports equipment – a tennis or racquetball racquet, a basketball, something along those lines so you don’t have to go through the pains of renting or buying a new one and people will come to you when they want to play soccer/football/etc. * Bring a cashmere sweater. They are warm in the winter and cool in the early fall. You can pull off a very smart and stylish look with it and it won’t get old. If you can, bring two so you can mix it up. * do *not* bring all of your clothes. Bring your favorites, leave room in your closet for more. Your tastes will change, you don’t want to end up shipping clothes all over the place. * It’s been said before but a fan can be absolutely brilliant, AC or otherwise. The white noise is great for drowning out someone’s loud bass propagating through the hallway and it will keep you cooler when you sleep. * Learn to sleep with headphones on. Seriously. This will save you 10 ways from Sunday. Get some comfortable out-of-ear (earbuds will stick in further when you lie on your side and get uncomfortable) that you can sleep on. That’s about all I can think of for now, will post more as they come to me.
