Rubber band.....Vibration dampener?
Does a rubber band make that sound that a regular dampener does. IDK how to explain the sound. The thicker the rubber band the better, right?
In high school tennis matches, will they let me use the rubber band as a dampener on my racquet?
Rubberbands are always better. I've never had one fly off during a point like other dampeners and theyre the cheapest.
Yes, they will let you use it as long as it is below the bottom cross.

I wanted to know if the small dampeners, long dampeners, or the dampeners that are attached to the racquet like the Babolat Racquet Vibration system had a difference?

well, long ones or snakes work better than short ones.
Best of all in my opinion though is an elastic band. I always found my shocka absorbers fell off and got lost. so i tied a lacky on. around a main and cross string. It didn't cost me anything, it didn't fall off, and it absorbed shock better than the others. you don't need to tie a special knot, just make it up.
