I'm also 13 and I too have been playing for about three months. I am a HUGE Prince fan. Since you and I are on the same page, you may wish to consider the Prince O3 Speedport PRO White. It's not cheap, however. $199.00, but it's worth it. A little about this racquet… Strung weight is 11.8 oz. String pattern is dense, 18×19, allowing for more control without sacrificing a lot of power. The Prince O3 White is also another racquet to consider. It has more power the the Pro White, and is lighter (11.3 oz strung). This racquet is easier to serve with… you would have to put in more power if you tried to serve with the Pro White. The O3 White has a good blend of power and control, but I found it to be too powerful for me. I demoed this racquet at Tennis Warehouse and it was strung at 58 lbs, so that may be the problem. I might have needed a high string tension since I lack control. By the way, Tennis Warehouse allows you to demo racquets for as little as $11.50 for two racquets. You get to keep them for one week and you don't have to worrying about paying for shipping to send them back. A return label is included in the package to you receive the racquets in.

Would you classify yourself as a player who relies on their serve to win points? Or a baseliner, who relies on their penetrating groundstrokes? Or an all around player?

You may also want to try Babolat. The Pure Drive Standard (11.2 oz strung) is a good racket which offers a good blend of power and control. It can be compared to the O3 White. The Pure Drive Roddick (11.7 oz strung) is excellent for serves, and is more powerful than the O3 White, Pure Drive Standard and Speedport Pro White. Take a look at Andy Roddick. His serves are deadly. If you are looking for more control, check out the Pure Storm line of Babolat racquets.

I myself use the Prince O3 Speedport Pro White. $199 was worth every penny. I'm a baseliner, so I find that this racquet was perfect for me. Good control, power, feel and pop. It also has a larger sweetspot than traditional racquets. Good luck choosing a racquet!

I cannot recommend any inexpensive Prince racquets. I've tried the O3 Hybrid Shark (11.1 oz) but boy, that was WAY too powerful for me. It may suit you, however. This would be your best bet if you are looking for an inexpensive racquet.

Please do not get any of those recreational racquets ($30 and under). They are just pure pieces of junk that will get you no where in tennis.

Always is a pretty strong word. Zynga is changing things around. They implement new features, adjust the stats on equipment, increase/decrease the frequency of loot from jobs, etc. So always is a strong word especially in this game.

Rackets are what Zynga is intending on replacing the current "Property" system in New York with. These rackets require a new profile skill called Influence. Based upon what we've seen so far, there is a maximum cap on income potential unlike what was previously available under the Property system.

Zynga started allowing selective new players to "BETA test" the rackets concept a couple of weeks ago (will try to obtain more specific date). This appears to be concepts that have been enormously successful in their Farmville game that entice people to log on even during weekends to play the game.

I started Mafia Wars around August 1st. I heard about the Rackets and at one point I could invest points into Influence but they took Influence away on my profile. Not sure if they will attempt to revamp everyone's profile, just keep those newer profiles with rackets, or do away with them all together.
