Which tennis racket do I choose?
I'm currently using a Prince Shark MP, and I'm thinking of buying a new racket. I'm stuck between the Prince o3 silver and the Prince o3 blue. I know the head sizes are very different but, whilst using the Shark MP, I've come to the realisation that I need a larger head size.
I'm a player who likes a lot of power. I don't often slice and I volley only sometimes, but mostly I like to play from the baseline. I definitely want a racket with a lot of power and I know both will provide this, and according to the Prince power level, the Silver has more power behind it. However, according to Prince, the silver is for players with short, slow strokes whereas I'd probably say that I have longer, faster strokes, and the blue is more suitable for this.
Which racket would you recommend I get?
1. Don't listen to the Prince guides.
2. The Silver is a model granny stick; unless you're under 6 or above 60, its not gonna help you.
3. The Shark is a very good racquet and should have adequate power, so if your strokes are relatively fast, it should have more than enough pop for you.
All of which leads me to think you might benifit from a few more lessons from a pro. However, if you really can't live without a new racquet, I suggest you get the blue.

Tennis Warehouse VLOG #21
Which tennis racquet should I get?
I've been looking at both the Prince Triple Threat, and the Prince O3 Speedport White.
I have been using a really cheap off balance racquet and I played my friend who used his moms Prince Triple Threat, I borrowed it and my shots were so much better. But I have been looking a lot at the O3 speedport. But the prince range is so vast triple threat is around 100 while the O3 is about 200.
I am around 5'7, and have short arms (compared to most) my strokes are medium long and I want a racquet with a lot of control and a good amount of power would be nice but isn't as important to me.
Which racquet should I look more into/purchase?
Please and thank you in advance.
First of all, which triple threat racquet is it? There's a bunch of them, and they are all very different. The two that you can find on tenniswarehouse.com are the Bandit and Warrior. I would need to know which one you were thinking of to give the best answer possible.
The easiest way to answer this is to tell you to demo the racquets. Try them out and see which one you like better. It's as simple as that. But I'll give a little extra info on these racquets.
The speedport white is a good, control-oriented racquet. It's among the heavier racquets that prince sells. This is a good thing, as long as it isn't too heavy for you. I would guess it isn't. It also has a somewhat large head, so it will be more forgiving.
The Bandit is a lighter option, but I fear that the oversize would be lighter than what you want. The midplus is a good weight, but it has a small head that requires more consistency.
Personally, I love the Warrior. The favorite racquet I own is an older version of it. It's barely heavier than the speedport white. The midplus has a slightly smaller head, but is still large enough that it should be fine. It's also a little more head-light, which means it's a little more maneuverable. Basically, it'll be a little more comfortable at the net. This racquet probably had the most control of the three.
So, use this as a guide. You know what you are looking for. As far as money is concerned, at tenniswarehouse.com, the bandit is only $55, and the Warrior is $70. At the same time, if you test all three and find that the speedport is more comfortable to you (to the point that you can justify the expense) then get it.
