prince recoil 16 string any good?
I just purchased my prince tour diablo racket from tenniswarehouse.com and I chose to get my racket strung with these strings. They were more expensive than the prince duraflex and I don't want to have buyer's remorse, but any opinions and facts regarding this recoil string would be great.
The Prince Recoil is not so great in my opinion. First of all it seems to break really fast for everyone. It is true that the strings really don't move much. I don't find them to excell in any area. The power on them is so so. The spin I find to be terrible compared to something like Luxilon or Babolat Pro Hurricane. They are overall ok stings but are definately overpriced. There are new strings called KLIP that are excellent. Because they are new they haven't hit it big time yet, try their hybrids for $19.99. Also you should try Gamma Live Wire, everyone loves those. Technifibre is also good for most but for some reason I don't like it because they move so much and everything seems to fly out. Overall Prince is REALLY NOT know for thier strings. Their rackets are top of the line along with Babolat, Head, Dunlop, Wilson, and Yonex. There shoes are actaully not bad. But their stings.... 3 or 4 out of 10. Look at the coustomer reviews, they arent so great. I think they will suit you fine but I doubt you will think they are the greatest strings, that I am almost sure of.
