Also a good place to look for conservation tips is treehugger.com (yes it sounds hippie-ish, and it sort of is). and if you want facts on how much energy is used by say, an average home, the country, etc. a quick google search of "how much electricity does ___ use per day/year" usually gets what you want pretty quick.
Other than this, i can't really think of any services that help conserve energy. i know there are probrams online that you can download that optimize your computer's power settings to use less power.
And slightly off topic, i feel i must give my opinion on blackle.com. Blackle is now obsolete, displaying a black screen only saves money on the old crt monitors (big heavy ones). the new lcd flat screens use essentially the same energy (negligibly more, actually) to show a dark screen because the backlight is always on no matter what.
