Polo Tennis Clothes
All you College Girls out there i need your help?
Well my girlfriend told me recently that I need to dress more "nice" and she hates my clothes. I am in the military so most of the time i am in uniform but when its time to go out in town I still wear hollister and american eagle cloths from High School. I am 19 so in College age. I need to know what should I be wearing? She is obviously tired of the t-shirt/jeans/polos/tennis shoes thing. So anyone that can help would be great! Thank you so much for your help! BALDWEAR For Bald People!
Parents, how many of you with younger kids make sure they look well dressed, or 'designer' everyday for school?
I was just curious as to how many parents send their kids to school well dressed, say slacks and nice dress shoes and a nice polo for boys,, and say a dress with bows all in the hair for little girls, or all designer brand name clothes. Versus just a shirt with jeans and tennis shoes? Do you spend a lot of time every morning making sure your kids live up to a certain standard at school or do you not really care a whole lot?
JUST CURIOUS ABOUT THE GENERAL PUBLIC!
I will admit that at least 3 days a week for school i make sure they are in popular brand name clothes and have their hair all done nicely and look good.
Then im really bad when we go out in public im always making sure the whole family looks fancy schmancy =)
It's never a good thing for anyone to be obsessed with the "brand name" on their clothes! Never. It's just nuts.
Who cares what brand the clothes are? The clothes are still made in asian sweatshops, they just advertise better and slap a higher price on them, and the people buying them are fooled.
YES I think dressing nicer for school is a good idea. Not the worn or sloppy things you would put on them for playing in the dirt. And not dirty or torn/worn out totally... that sort of clothes, back in my day, just advertised that the mother "didn't care".
Wow, makes me think school uniforms in our public schools might be a good idea, so the kids from "richer" families can't be snobs and lord it over the other kids.
School should be for learning not teaching the kids to be Voodoo Consumers who buy mindlessly because they saw it on TV.
