Performance Racquet
Tennis string selection help?
I just got my racquet strung with pro hurricane 18g yesterday. I played with them today and i doubt they will last longer than a few days at most. I love the strings, I love the gauge, I love how they play(to say the least, these strings are perfect for me) but i cant afford to restring them every two weeks.
Should i get some type of Kevlar strings at 18g?
Or should i get the same strings but just at a lower gauge?
Any other super durable and godly performance strings you would suggest?
I dont want to sacrifice the playability and the superb-ness of the strings but if it will save me that much more money then i think its worth it.
lower ur tension a little and if this still continues im afraid you should go down a gauge my friend, which wont make a big difference at all

Chiropractic For Tennis Players
Tennis is a very demanding game that involves almost of the muscles of the human body. You need to run fast, to twist and turn your body quickly, to have strong shoulders and arm muscles and lastly, to have good eyesight and co-ordination.
The speed that the tennis ball leaves the racquet has been measured over 200 km per hour!
Very few players would achieve this speed but nevertheless it indicates that the game is not just a slow and social pastime at all. It's a war out there and you better be ready for it!
Basic tips.
1. Choose a racquet that is not too heavy and that has the correct grip
2. Make sure that your shoes have the right support for the ankles and that they have an antipronation bar built in to reduce rolling over.
3. Wear clothing that is light and comfortable. Do not overdress.
4. Concentrate on the game but do not allow yourself to become tense or worry about it. After all, it is only a game!
5. If you find yourself playing at a lower level than your opponent it might be better to pitch yourself at a lower level also until your game improves.
6. Have lessons from a professional tennis coach. This will more than repay the fees spent as your game will improve dramatically.
7. Join a club of people like yourself . Make sure that you feel comfortable with them and that you are having fun. Life is serious enough already.
8. See your chiropractor regularly. Tell him or her that you have taken up tennis and your specific needs will be addressed. Important areas of the body will include the upper back and shoulders, the shoulder blades and collar bones, the cervical spine or neck and last but not least, the elbows and wrists.
9. Have your grip checked to avoid developing tennis elbow and forearm extensor tendonitis. Seek advice from your chiropractor if you have pain and have coaching if your technique is causing you problems.
So you can see that your chiropractor will be able to fine tune you so that your tennis game will not impeded by subluxated or fixated joints and you will be able to enjoy the game knowing that that you are performing at your optimum potential.
