Nike Tennis Nike Air Max
finding tennis shoes?
Im a casual 1 or 2 matches a week person currently wearing old cheap sneakers that are doing nothing but bad things to my feet and ankles during a match. Ive done some research online looking for some new shoes I can use both for tennis and casually.
Im not a big fan of pure white or bright coloured shoes so I got my list down to a top 5:
1) Nike Air Max Breath Cage II
2) Nike Air Vapor V
3) Adidas CC Feather III
4) Adidas a3 Accellerator
5) Adidas Barricade V
So, I then went to try them all on in my local sports shoe shops but the only shoe I could find in all the stores was the barricades, and I found them to be too heavy, bulky and thin for my liking, prefering a lighter shoe but I cant find any of the others on my list to try out in Adelaide.
Can anyone please help me out on which shoe they think is both light, slightly wider than the barricades and/or where I might be able to try on these other shoes?
Barricades are known to be slightly narrow, and the later models are heavier than the Barricade II that I use. I've tried the Barricade IV and went back to the IIs because they're lighter and fit better (for me). But, if you have wide feet, I would stay away from the Barricade line.
New Balance and Prince makes wider sizes that you might want to try out. I've tried the New Balance CT820, and they were light and comfortable, but they provided little cushion and support. Another shoe you might want to try is the Kswiss Ascendor, which is a good light shoe (I just don't know how they fit wider feet). Tennis warehouse has a lot of good reviews on most shoes. Shoes with more support and cushioning tend to be heavier. I would recommend sticking to a heavier shoe for the extra support and cushioning. I think that you'll adapt to the weight. My brother-in-law has wide feet, and he likes the Prince T9 Roadster. Good luck finding your tennis shoes!

nike air max courbalistic 2.3 shoes
How come the Nike Tennis shoes don't have a first version like the Nike Vapor III and IVs or Air Max Breathes?
Also, are the air max breathe free II better or adidas barricade IVs
Heck, with the right marketing, Nike and Adidas could sell 30 year old designs with different colors and names and go for another 10 years.
