Measuring Tennis Racquet Head Size

Does the head size of a tennis racquet affect you gameplay? I use a 115 sq.in but i want to buy a 100 sq.in.?

I use a HEAD i. s12 and it's head size is 115 sq.in and it measures 28" long. I really want to buy the Prince O³ White and it's head size is 100 sq.in and it measures 27" long. Will i still be able to get the ball like the other one or does the head size make a huge difference?

Depends on your level of play. Beginners/intermediates usually use a larger racquet size b/c the sweet spots are larger along with a compromise between less power but more accuracy.

As you become better, you'd probably want a racquet with a smaller head size because as the racquet size gets smaller, the acceleration of your racquet would be greater. There's will be an immediate difference of feel once you change racquet, you'd feel more power on the groundstrokes/serves but slightly less accuracy.

Overall, I'd say go ahead. It won't make such big difference as long as you play with the same style as usual. But if you have just began playing tennis for a short time, stay with the larger racquet.

This aspect is important so that you can comfortably seize the handle correctly, because there are various sizes of hand with regard to people. All the sizes of handle are measured in inches, and numbers it inches will change according to the size of your hand. The racquet should adapt comfortably in your hand, without gripping, to cover, or gaps. This makes sure that your arm will not quickly tire to hold too narrowly when the size of handle is too large, or of the racquet slipping around into your hand of a handle which is too small.

The weight of racquet is another variable, and the beginners should start with a light or a superb racquet of light, because this class of weight is not too heavy for starters. The weight of racquet is enumerated by the size of handle, and can state SL, L, LM, or seldom, M.
