What is the meaning and origin of my last name?
My last name is Cline I know it might be irish or german but i don't spell any other way. And whats the meaning of my last name i can never find it.
Cline is an americanized spelling of German Klein or a Jewish (Ashkenazic) variant of this name. Or, it could one of the variant spelling of Scottish or Irish Clyne.
Cline/Klein means little, small, neat, or nice
The Scottish meaning is "slope" while the Irish origin is from 'deceitful’.
