Machine Unit Used

When was the last time you used a continuous towel?
I saw the first one today in about twenty years. In case you don't know what they are, it is a unit that hangs on the wall. The towel itself is actually on a roll and as you pull down to get a clean section, the 'dirty' or previously used section gets pulled back up into the machine. Used to be found mostly in public restrooms.
Not in eons! Great harborers of bacteria they are!

Balancing Machine $86.03 A balancing machine is a measuring tool used for balancing rotating machine parts such as rotors for electric motors, fans, turbines, disc brakes, disc drives, propellers and pumps. The machine usually consists of two rigid pedestals, with suspension and bearings on top supporting a mounting platform. The unit under test is bolted to the platform and is rotated either with a belt, air, or enddrive. As the part is rotated, the vibration in the suspension is detected with sensors and that information is used to determine the amount of unbalance in the part. Along with phase information, the machine can determine how much and where to add weights to balance the part. Tabulating Machine $95.59 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The tabulating machine was an electrical device designed to assist in summarizing information and, later, accounting. Invented by Herman Hollerith, the machine was developed to help process data for the 1890 U.S. Census. It spawned a larger class of devices known as unit record equipment and the data processing industry. The term Super Computing was first used by the New York World newspaper in 1929 to refer to large custombuilt tabulators IBM made for Columbia University. What is the standard Machine gun used by marine infantry units ?
M240 ? or M249 ?
What about the Army ? Does the Army infantry use M240 or only mounted on humvees ?
both to answer your question
The SAW or squad automatic weapon is issued for use withing a fire team and squad.
The m240 golf is used a medium weapon carried by those in weapon platoon and company. It is also mounted on vehichles
The 50 cal would be used as a heavy weapons platform
The SAW fires a 5.56 nato round or also know as a 223
The m240 fires a 7.62 or also known as a 308
The poster below me is wrong In the marine corps the m249 SAW didnt replace the 60 they were both in service and use at the same time. The SAW was brought in to provide extra firepower at the fireteam level and squad level. where as the m240 golf was brought in to replace the m60. I am not sure about the army but this is how it worked in the marine corps
United States Marine Corps
The United States Marine Corps summarizes its fireteam organization with the mnemonic "ready-team-fire-assist", the following being the arrangement of the fireteam when in a column:
Rifleman: acts as a scout for the fireteam; called "Ready";
Team Leader (M203): also works as the grenadier; called "Team";
Automatic Rifleman (M249 SAW): also serves as second in command for the fireteam; called "Fire";
Assistant Automatic Rifleman: carries extra ammunition; called "Assist";
Manufactured by Fabrique Nationale's subsidiary FN Manufacturing, Inc. Columbia, SC, the FN MAG derivative M240 was chosen by the U.S. military for different roles after large world-wide searches and competitions. It has mainly replaced the M60 in most roles, though it replaced some other machine guns in the co-axial position. M60s have remained in use, but they are being slowly phased out and replaced by the newer M240s as they wear out.
