What are my chances in getting into UNC-Chapel Hill?
I am in the International Baccalaureate Program and I have a 4.0 weighted GPA at the end of my junior year of high school.I am taking summer classes at a local community college. I also played two varsity sports this year and last year( Varsity Soccer, Varsity Tennis). I am the vice-president of Hands on Charlotte Youth Advisory Board( a community service organization). I am a member of National Honors Society and Key Club. I am president of HOSA and founder and president of my schools IB Student Council. I took my SAT Reasoning Test this year and got a 1600 out of 2400. I am planning on taking the ACT in June and SAT again in October.I am also from Eritrea and am in an eritrean youth group called YPFDJ. So what are my chances and is there something more that I can be doing to increase my chances?
If you don't improve your SAT score by about 400 or so points, your odds are very small. For the ACT, aim for at least a 30. Although, you bring diversity, your score alone can keep you out. Otherwise everything else seems alright. SO if you get SATs up, you got a good shot.

What if you completely screw up freshman+sophomore year and do extremely well junior+senior year?
I got a 3.6 gpa freshman year and only participated in a science fair(four honors classes)
then sophomore year i got a 2.5 gpa and was on the tennis team (four honors classes)
but
junior year i got a 4.0 gpa, joined the animal care league, helped out at the conservatory, joined a youth group, joined chemistry club,went to a summer program. got a 32 on the act, 710 on math sat, 710 on verbal, and 700 on sat writing. (four honors classes)
senior year i had 5 ap classes and one honors, i made the varsity tennis team, stil in youth group, still helped out at conservatory, still volunteered at the animal shelter, was in chemistry club and had a kick ass essay with three recommendations
could i still get into a college like ithaca or michigan state? or possibly even vassar?
well i dont know how prestigious those colleges are but even with the bad sophmore gpa, you have a great ACT score (idk about the SAT) and lots of extra curricular activities. so that's good.
