I just bought a head cover off eBay and I was wondering if some one else who owns this specific head cover can tell me if just inside the sleeve it says made in China? Mine does, but I am not sure if that is normal or if this is counterfeit. Thanks!
I called Taylormade and they said the serial matched the club. My main concern was the club was "used" only once and looks brand new. The only sketchy things were the head cover saying made in China and the fact that such a mint club would have an aftermarket Golf Pride grip. The grips that come with these clubs are nice, I am tempted to get the lcub re-gripped just to see the condition under the grip. I have been scammed before, maybe I am just paranoid haha
I've got 38 drivers and all of the club covers were made in China. Most of the components are made in China but the some of the clubs are assembled in the US. (I guess that makes it "Made in America")

Winter Tours in the "Sunlit City"
Unlike what most people might imagine, Tibet has a mild climate, with an annual average daily temperature of 8 degrees C (43 degrees F). There is no freezing winter in Tibet; instead, you will see little snow and most of sunny days than any other season through the year, characterized with big temperature difference between the daytime and the night. In the daytime, the city is bathed in sunshine while the temperature will go down sharply in the night. The winter tour in Tibet features the brightest sky, pollution-untouched city, and a paradise of sunshine. The gorgeous sunshine, leisurely streets, full-dressed Tibetan females… the image is beyond your thought. Take this opportunity to visit Tibet, and its unique characteristics will bring you a completely different travel experience.
There are many good reasons for your choice of winter tour:
1) The landscapes appear in another state. The color of vegetation and trees changes. The weather is characterized with dry air, little clouds, extremely blue sky, withering leaves and frozen lakes that are purely clear to the end.
2) Much fewer tourists. No hustle and bustle. You will have a good opportunity to meditate and deepen yourself into the holy religious atmosphere.
3) Easy to book tickets. The tickets of hot sightseeing places will not get on tourists' nerves because during the hot season, the number of visitors is strictly limited while in winter tourists can fully enjoy the sightseeing.
4) Cheaper price. Due to fewer tourists, the tour price such as accommodation, transportation and guide will go down in winter. For example, the price of a 3 star hotel in winter will be around 100 to 200 RMB lower than that in summer.
In winter, Tibet is different from any other season through the year; it looks like a city more suitable for inhabitation rather than sightseeing. Sunshine, as the host of the holy land, illuminates every corner of Tibet. Once again, its beauty, which has been forgotten in the summer, recovers its original state in winter. In the winter of Tibet, one will see the pure poetry of Lhasa, feel and touch its spirit. Ethnic costumes, delicious food, beautiful landscapes and beauties fill every corner of Lhasa. Go shopping in Barkhor Street, sipping butter tea in the tea house; among the fragrance of coffee, bubble of beer, delicacy of butter tea, joys pop out and spread. The most modern material comforts and the purest local traditions perfectly roll into one under the winter sun.
Highlights of Tibet winter tour:
1) Pilgrims in the winter of Tibet
Sutra streamers and Mani stone mounds with scripture carved or painted on them put up by devout worshippers can be seen everywhere in Tibet. Temples and religious activities can be found in every corner of Tibet with worshippers at all ages holding butter lamp, spinning prayer wheels, burning incense and worshipping. On the way to Lhasa, religious people devoutly prostrating themselves on the ground measure their way to the holy city with their bodies.
At present, the population is 2,700,000 in Tibet with more than 80% of farmers and herdsmen. In winter, the Tibetans have finished husbandry and swarm into Lhasa for worshipping. Numerous devout worshippers holding butter lamp come to the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple.
If you want to learn more about the Tibetan Buddhism and explore the mystery of religion, going to Tibet in winter is your best choice.
2)The Tibetan New Year
The Tibetan New Year is the most important festival for Tibetans. Several days before the Tibetan New Year, the Tibetans will start preparation for the festival, painting the walls, cleaning the shrines and utensils, drawing auspicious patterns on the windows, doors and beams. They will present an offering in worship for the Buddha, such as various fried butter fruits, colorfully adorned sheep's head, crocusus, fruits and snacks, while sheep's head is an indispensable mascot for the Tibetan New Year.
On the 29th of December in the Tibetan Calendar, every family will taste Gudu after sunset, which is a porridge consisting of 9 kinds of food and in which symbolic significances of pastes are put. While eating, different things might be found that bear different meanings. For example, wool means kindness, salt means laziness, white stone means pureness, charcoal means meanness. If one found a "monster" with a small head and big stomach in the porridge, he will be punished in public.
On the first day of the Tibetan New Year, the first bucket of water brought home by the housewife is called "pure water". The whole family will put on new clothes, worship the gods and bless each other. On that day, people will not go out, instead, they will greet the neighbors holding "zusuoqiema" in their hands, and wish for good fortune, good health and happyness forever.
On the second day of the Tibetan New Year, people visit others and on the third day, put up scripture streamers..
From the second day on, friends and relatives will come round each other. During the festival, Tibetan operas, Tibetan dances will be shown in villages and cities until dawn. People will climb up on the roof of their houses, change the scripture streamers, and then go to the suburban mountains to set the colorful scripture streamers. The horse of wind represents the blessings and hopes of the Tibetans for the coming New Year
The tradition on the 1st day of the Tibet New Year is to go on a pilgrimage to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor Street. Later, you will cast a visit on a local Tibetan family, singing the Tibetan songs and dancing. The spectacular customs of the Tibetan New Year will fascinate every tourist to the most and let you experience a completely different festival.
