Hand Over Tennis
What is the stupidest fall u have ever taken?
Today i was going to catch a tennis ball because my friend hit it off the court. There was two basketballs sitting on the ground and when i went to catch the tennis ball i tripped over the basketballs and fell flat on my face. The tennis ball fell right through my hands.
It was pretty funny though.
Haha this is funny..
So we were playing softball in gym, and I'm pretty uncordinated. I was running to first base, and I was definetly not going to make it. Then i tripped and I accidentaly slid into the base. I was safe though... hahaha :] I wouldn't have made it in time if i didn't fall!

why do tennis line judges have to put their hands behind their backs after every point.?
i mean the play is over shouldn't they be able to stand how ever they want ? how long are teh on teh court at a time ?
You raised a good question about the lines judge's conduct between points. I'm also assuming that you are referring to the three line judges (actually, five) standing behind the players because the other line judges (service line and baseline) actually get to sit.
These 'standing' line judges are suppose to keep their hands behind their backs at all times in order to avoid having to remember to move it behind their backs every time a point start. Sudden movement of hands can be very distracting, especially to the player returning serve. This practice also ensures that the line judge's posture is upright and able to see further. I don't know how true this actually is, but it was communicated to me by a line judge.
As far as how long these people are on the court, I used to assume that they are out there for the entire match, with exceptions during matches played in extreme heat. At the U.S. Open's final, I saw them rotating line judges each set, something I've never noticed before. So it might be that big tournaments have enough volunteers to rotate them around at key matches (final and perhaps semifinals).
