Xbox 360 blue print related to "close tray open tray" problem?
ok so we've been having a problem with are xbox when we put in a cd it doesnt read it for some reason so we looked up some solutions onlines and some people said to push on top and we did and it worked most the time but for some reason i guess my brother got tired of doing it so he stuck a peice of styro foam plate in there to raise the level of the disk witch he said he thought was the problem idk..
any way we need a xbox 360 blue print if anyone knows where to find one online because he said that theres suppose to be a rubber circle grip near the cd that raised it which is why he place the styro foam in there .... (please dont try the styro foam because it actually fell into are xbox because i had to take mine apart to get it out. and its time consuming)(and this may be a fire hazard..)
noo lol i know how to open it im trying to permantly fix the problem where it wont read my cd's when i put them in it still says open tray.

Basically to open it, you pull off the faceplate. The top and bottom grey pices(hard drive, and feet of the console). Undo the tabs on the front, pop open the tabs on the back, and remove the piece of plastic. Use a t10 screwdriver(or t10h either works) to remove the 4 corner long screws. Then you have access to the DVD Drive.
However what do you plan to do once you get it open? It sounds like you need a new drive, which requires flashing. If you are getting an open/closed tray problem 60% of the time it is caused by a faulty PCB which will require you to buy a new one, and flash it with your original drive's DVD Key. Tutorials can be found online everywhere.
